Another Mount Union player,Ed Warinner '84 moving up in the coaching ranks. He was named offensive line coach at Ohio State today.

Is going from the Notre Dame OL Coach/Run Game Coordinator to tOSU OL Coach "moving up"? ;)

Whether it is or isn't I don't really know but considering where he was coming from I'd have to think that he felt it was moving forward or he wouldn't have taken the job in the first place.  Unless, of course, he has some sort of relationship with Meyer and saw it at worse as a lateral move.

Or maybe he just got a nice raise or wanted to move back to Ohio.

Coach Kelly may be in his final year at ND. News reports are that the administration is not in love with him. It is also a fact he has lost several of his top assistants this off season. So,yes,it is a move up.

I am not a Piloto fan, but I also know from talking to several of the UMU players that they are not particularly pleased with Seaman's work ethic.

Personally, I hope Burke or someone else steps up and owns the QB job next year.

+K, nice inside information Prof!

Lk's plan was to have both QB's available for the title game. He uses them according to the dictates of the game ,and the defenses presented. Each have strengths and weaknesses.  Who better to judge the particulars of the game and the abilities of the QB's than LK?  We went 14-1 and lost the title game by 3.  Both QB's played well, and hopefully both will be available next year.  If someone beats them out, then someone beats them out. No one's job is safe at Mount  My theory is all is done with an eye on the title game, and we look like one of the teams to beat next year. I really dislike this sniping at the QB's.  Ever tried to play QB?  At Mount Union?  For LK?.  Against good teams?  Please, these are young men, trying their level best . Everybody's entitled to their opinion, but cheap shot artists are like dirty football players, and decorum prevents me from responding like I would like to.

I don't think that anyone has taken a "cheap shot" at either of the QB's.  Far from it actually.  In all honesty, I think that Neal had one of the worst seasons by any returning starting QB in recent MUC history and I would call him perhaps the biggest bust recruit in 10 or so years.  And Piloto has his problems magnified by the ESPN lights and have been well documented.   Trying your best is nice at Marietta or Wilmington, but when you sign up to play at Mount you are signing up for something bigger than your typical D3 experience.  There are no participation awards at Mount. At Mount Union the expectations are higher than what either QB has produced in the past couple of seasons.

If you live within 10 minutes of the campus and you are not around for summer work, you probably deserve to be called what theaprof has heard.  Just my opinion.

Agree, maybe Coach Kehres will just go with a new hand at QB, the returning seniors have had their shot, We'll see! :)

Gosh,Purplesuit,I didn't realize you were such an expert on quarterback play and the performance vs expectations of all Mount Union recruits over the past ten years. Your comment about Seaman proves my point. It's a cheap shot.
