Well thank you all for the "sympathy" karma - now I will try to earn it. Saw this from the Colts http://www.colts.com/news/article-1/COLTS-MAKE-ROSTER-MOVES/4336a7b0-adf7-41c4-aabc-57266e96e70c

Looks like contract talks with PG may be done if the Colts have entered cleaning house phase. This begs the question of who will be on the team with Andrew Luck? No Clark or Addai - Saturday is gone and PG and Reggie looked to be dealt. Lets see: "Luck takes the snap from Luck, fakes hand-off to Luck and throws deep - he's got Luck all alone (literally) in the corner of the end zone! Touchdown Colts!! Wow Andrew Luck really protected himself and formed a nice pocket for Luck to throw from."

Of course according to this one http://www.1070thefan.com/news/story.aspx?ID=1667809 the Colts have signed free agent QB Trevor Vittatoeto....so maybe they aren't going after Luck afterall  ;D.

probably best for Pierre to look elsewhere with Manning moving on.  I could see him following Manning, but that would depend on the team.  It seems the entire Colts' offense is up for sale.  Whatever team it ends up being, this is the "get paid" contract for Pierre.  Couldn't happen to a better guy.  Now lets working on that Garcon-Shorts indoor practice facility at good ole MUC

I am thinking that Pierre would look really good in a Giants uniform and he still have a Manning throwing him the ball.

Bite your tongue Knightstalker!! Any team but the giants...or the browns...or the cowboys. Okay so anyone but those teams....and the raiders or the seahawks or the jets. Other than those teams it's all good. I saw this article and it mentions a few teams...thankfully none of them are the aforementioned giants, browns, cowboys, etc. One thing that stood out is the "advertisement" section of the article. Reading the last few sentences tells me that PG aint gonna be in Indy.

I have two team I root for, the Dolphins are first, the Giants are second.  I just think Garcon playing on the opposite side of Cruz would give Eli a deadly combination and would give Garcon a great chance at the Super Bowl.  Of course he would look good opposite Marshall too, but the Dolphins are still a qb and couple of other players away.

I love watching Pierre play. He is electric (c'mon Raider fans you remember going to Mount games with PG, Nate and Micheli - you knew on ANY play a TD was a very likely possibility) and I just love watching him do what he does. However, I would prefer he retire than go to the Giants or Cowboys - or even the Bears! I want to root for him and his team - not root for Pierre to have 150 yds and 3 TDs - but a loss to MY teams (Pats & Steelers). I just can't root for the bears, etc..(it's hard enough rooting for the Cotls). So Pierre take a mental picture: you're in the endzone, pointing to your name on the back of the jersey, Tom Brady is yelling "yeah baby" and Pats nation is going berzerk as you haul in the game winning SuperBowl clinching score!! OR imagine how awesome it would be to put on the Black and Gold following in the footsteps of Swann, Stallworth, Lipps, Ward - very nice indeed!

The Steelers would be a good choice as well. :)

Do Giants fans forget about their other stud Hakeen Nicks?  Manningham might be as good a three in the NFL right now.  NY doesn't need Pierre.

Manningham is a free agent and there is a lot of interest from other teams and he wants to be more than the third receiver according to the local papers.

Well, I guess there is nothing wrong with that, although, in all honesty, some of those guys (and please, I'm not talking about PG here as I'm talking in general) should just be glad they have the opportunity to be in the NFL and make the kind of $ they do.  As that old, but truthful saying goes..."how much is not enough"? ;)

Manningham is up for his second contract and he wants to cash in on his late season and post season performance and the Giants don't have the cap space.  Their lack of cap space also means they may not be able to go after PG, but it is fun to imagine Desertraiders head exploding imagining PG in a Giants uniform.   ;D

Yes, that would be interesting, however, we obviously wish no harm to Desertraider. :)  Were that to happen, he might need the team athletic trainer and a good old "Miller Lite" to calm him down!
