Dr. Acula and Raider68:

It is the same in our MIAA- the coaches are not allowed to vote for themselves/their own team at the pre-season league meeting/media day (I dare say, most of them would not do that anyway, even if they could...well perhaps one or two might, however, most would not :o ::)  :)).
It's also done the same way in the CCIW.
CCIW FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS '06-'07-'08-'09-'10-'11-'12-'13
CCIW  MEN"S INDOOR TRACK CHAMPIONS: TOTAL DOMINATION SINCE 2001.
CCIW MEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK CHAMPIONS: 35
NATIONAL CHAMPIONS: INDOOR TRACK-'89,'10,'11,'12/OUTDOOR TRACK: '89,'94,'98,'00,'10,'11
2013 OAC post season pick-em tri-champion
2015 CCIW Pick-em co-champion

It will be interesting to what TJ Lattimore has for the Raiders.  He was a stud at Maple Heights and started out at Miami U.  He looked good as a backup in '10 before he had eligibility issues.  As much as the Murray deal sucks, you have to think that Mount will find a quality RB on the roster.  As good as the defense is, Mount will have 11-12 games to figure out the RB situation, even if it is Driskill.

Training camp article about the Jags, sounds like it was pretty close to being two Purple Raiders on Jacksonville this year

I missed that Lattimore was back in the fold the first time I skimmed that article.  That certainly helps if he's ready to go.

The other interesting tidbit that was news to me was Dieuseul moving to MLB.

Murray is a nice D3 running back, but he was never a difference maker.  We'll be fine without him.  Some may say, even better.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

The Raiders will be fine at RB. Blair Skilliter showed power and quickness the later part of last season when he had the opportunity. Anyone know the details of what happen to J. Murray that caused him to not be eligible other than the obvious? I cannot remember the last time a returning senior with a good football history became ineligible for his senior year. ::)

What I hear is he had to take care of business this summer in school, and just didn't do what he had to do.

Yea but enough with the head first flips in an exibition game. Hurt your back, leg, neck, etc and how nice would that play look then? Come on Pierre you have been there before......score and hand the ball off to the ref. ::)

Knightstalker,

I wonder if the Redskins head coach saw the movie " Major League" when the manager tells
Wesley Snipes after his basket catch in centerfield. " Nice catch, don't ever (blank) do it again" ::)

A shame Garcon had to pull that stunt. After his time in the league, one would think he would know how to act.  IMO he made an ass of himself, and I hope he is fined, or at least reprimanded by coach or league.

That shouldn't really count as a "pass".
