LK says in pregame interview that Kevin Burke will start at QB.  Also, starting WR Julius Moore is out with an injury today.

Interesting about QB.

Burke is 3-3 for 50 yds and 1 rush for 21 yds so far.  Lattimore scores from 2 yds out and Chris Denton just returned a punt for a TD.

14-0 w/ 5:10 to go in the 1st.

Dr. Acula

Ott up 5-0 in the 2nd.  Quarter, not inning.

Berg 31-0 over Alma in the 2nd.

Cap down 7-3 to Witt.

Dr. Acula

3rd straight 3 and out from D leads to a FG.  17-0 just into the 2nd.  Burke 8-10 for 98 yds.

Hey all, been a while

Cap down 14-3 to Witt at end of 1.  Witt moving up and down the field.

Dr. Acula

Harry and Lenny describing the weather as a "monsoon" with standing water on the field currently.

JK

Cap down 30-3 to witt, about a minute until halftime.  I'm out, can't take any more.  Gonna be a long year in Bexley.

P.S. this is why I don't post on these boards anymore.  I am so disgusted with the state of Capital football right now, I can't stand to watch/ listen to it, so I have nothing to add.  It's awful.  Witt will be OK and might even be a playoff team, but Cap doesn't even look like they belong on the same field.

JK, good to see you posting...even if it may be short lived.

I've been watching the live stats for Cap.  The thing that baffles me is the D.  I figured they'd struggle on O.  Their skill guys aren't great.  But their D is getting marched up and down on by an unproven offense replacing all their playmakers.  Very disheartening.

Dr. Acula

31-0.  Burke to Shannon Stewart 32 yards.

reality check

Just caught the end of the ONU/NC Wesleyan game and the Polar Bears dropped it 16-13 in OT.  Bears threw a pick on their OT possession and NCWesleyan connected on about a 38 yarder for the win.  Not a good start in spite of some decent numbers for the Bears statistically.

Ott wins 15-0.

Berg calls off the dogs and plays to a 2nd half draw.  45-0.

Cap down 37-10 just into the 4th.

UMU up 45-7 in the 4th.
