Thanks for the Way-Back machine .... haven't seen this video since, well, MTV actually showed videos!

More talk about a knucklehead whose ex-team is not even in the playoffs than the fact Johns Hopkins lost the conference defensive player of the year and their leading tackler in the final regular season game, senior middle linebacker Taylor Maciow, who still has 20 more tackles than any other Blue Jay despite not playing last week. Tough way to go your senior year. Big loss for them. Looks like we'll have our hands full with thier running back. They'll have their hands full too!

On paper, Johns-Hopkins looks like a good, solid team.  I hope we're going to see some good competitive playoff football on Saturday.  It would be nice to see a big crowd, but with the students home for Thanksgiving and Ohio State - Michigan on at noon, I doubt will have a good turn out.

The Johns Hopkins RB looks like a solid player, but I think VK is going to focus on stuffing the run and make the passing game beat the Raiders' D.  Just looking at the numbers and the Blue Jays passing game doesn't scare me.  The comp % is nice but 11 TD to 12 INT and only 8 yards per attempt is not so great.  I see a step up in competition from last week (who wouldn't be) but still not a real test for Mount.

PurpleSuit,

Thanks for the link of Kyle Miller +k. I really do not understand the Colts. Why bring him up
then waive him. At least the Dolphins really wanted him. Maybe Kyle will be able to show
the talent he has, finally! :)

Jason Trusnik will be happy to show Kyle the ropes down in Miami.

John Hopkins Off. has 8 Jrs. starting and 3 Srs.  The def. has 6 soph. 3 Sr. 1 Jr. and 1 Frosh.  This is a young team overall.  Looking forward to see how we matchup and how Mount takes care of business.  Tate appears to be back at the tackle position.   The goal is in view, the preparation has been completed, the task has been defined.  All the ingredients are on hand. Follow the Mount recipe. Then Time to bake the CAKE!!

I'm baking a cake right now.  Go Mount Union--by 35!

Been a while since I've been in here...but good to see the same old faces. Have to agree with some earlier comments...Mount is Good. Time to finish it. Good Luck Raiders

Pimp:   Good to see you're still above ground.

Stuffing the run is what we do...their RB averages around 130/game...don't think that will happen Saturday. And their D gives up 275 yds/game..hmmm...

I expect JHU to be very much like H'Berg.   Really good, quick, tough to tackle RB paired with an average passing game.  Their D-line should be fine, its their secondary that's in trouble.
