If that rumor is true, has anyone thought how Wesley feels right now??

I'm thinking that the rumor is total BS      heck NCAA doesnt announce the NEXT home game till sunday night much less 2 weeks ahead of time

Just had a phone call with some surprising news. There was an individual that said they made an announcement in the MUC locker room at half time, that the NCAA announced the National Semifinal Game will be hosted by MHB. If this is true, why the H didn't they say so at the beginning of the playoffs? Why do it now, 2 weeks prior to the game? I guess they really don't want Mount to be in VA in Dec and are doing everything they can to prevent it. I will do some snooping around and see if I can get a more reliable source, than the person that informed me, but thought all you Raider fans would like to know. If anyone else hears anything, olease let us know so plans might be able to be arranged.

Whoever your source is on this? Lose him.   ;)

Someone also told Mount Union players that we picked Otterbein to beat Mount Union some weeks ago. That was also wrong. Perhaps that's the same person. :)

Ho hum.......

I was hoping Mount would get a big challenge yesterday, but it was not meant to be.  I truly believe that most on the JHU offense were tired of getting drilled, and just kind of gave up.  Not the RB, that kid had some speed, and hops.

Now Mount gets to face the 90 point scoring Widener machine.  Hmmmm.....I like Mount's chances.

Oh...and I think that the "person" who announced that Mount was going to go to Belton in the semi-final at the halftime of yesterday's game was wearing purple......but not Mount purple.  Maybe had some red in that gear as well.   ::)

Cecil is quietly having a nice sophomore season.  4 catches / 105 yards / 1 TD in today's Jax win over Tennessee
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I don't get the impression that it's very quiet at all.

As I said Saturday, I think he's having a better second season than Garcon considering the supporting cast.

Bishopleftiesdad

he really helped my fantasy team this week.  ;D

The NFL agrees.  Last week they were pushing him as highly productive 4 of 5 weeks, yet only on 28% of fantasy teams.

Cecil did kinda bypass the-first-year-on-special-teams genuflection that Pierre had to go through; IMHO Pierre only survived his first two years on a receiver-laden team because he was such an effective down-field blocker.  That and some well-timed injuries.

Now how do we get Kyle on the field for Miami?   ;)
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

The Weidner coach appears to like to score points..Mount Union surely has no room to talk..but 90 to 0 over Wilkes???  I guess he did not think of kicking field goals or putting in the scrubs?
Good thing a friend of LK was not coaching Wilkes or this could be a octo-quadruple monkey stomp if the opportunity presents itself....

The last Widener game was 70-30.  Hope this one is better, though I doubt it. >:(

hurf, how you been?  have not seen you around here much.  bman mentioned it a couple pages back, too lazy to get the quote, and he is a widener fan.  he is not high on the defense and like me is not sure how the offense scores as much as they seem to do.  they have a nice receiver and the qb can throw the ball well.  they run him occasionally but that is not why he is qb.  the running backs are nothing special.  sounds like they stacked the box daring salisbury to throw and the gulls could not.  plenty of things will have to go right for widener to stay competitive in this game.  i think you will get a good one the following week no matter which team you get to see.

HURFMUC

Wesleydad --I have been busy not much time to chat in here. Your right about next week. I take you have seen Widner play?

wesleydad,

INHO, I think Wesley has a decent shot at UMHB and can win if they play as they have
in the past few games. That said, UMHB may be  also looking ahead since they were
victorious vs. Wesley earlier in the year! We'll see on Saturday, your thoughts?
