Simon finishing the drive. Mount looking better as the game goes on. UMHB still trails 17-12 at the half.

ATTENTION Widener video crew: A fake punt up 51-10 in the 3rd is not classless, so stop shouting it. This game has become practice! Who's fault is it that this is a practice: Widener's. Mount still needs work for next week. What a whiney group calling the game for Widener.

And another thing: the game isn't over. Widener is still playing!

So we're they saying their team was classless winning a game 90-0? I'm guessing no.

Hard to be critical at this point -but the penalties (especially late) are disturbing. They just gave Widener 30 yards on this drive. Hate to see that.

They werre actually being critical of Widener for doing that as well (at least they were today). But now they are blasting away at the fact that Burke is still in...I feel like I am listening to Dick Vitale - time to MUTE it.

To corrrect the Widener video crew: Mount last lost at home in 2005 - not 1996. And Mount going to Chester won't help the Pride since Mount is actually better on the road. And stop crying that Mount should be put in Division 1AA.

Neither MHB or Wesley look very good right now either. \

maybe it's the fact they are playing each other.

Maybe.

The video crew were really way out there, I do not see them having to worry about going any further in this field.  The quality of the stream for me was extremely inconsistent.  Oh well!!  Go Radiers.

Agree 100%, your not going to see blowouts like the other games...these are two legit teams, this could have easily been a semi-final game.

I'm not suggesting MHB and Wesley are Widener or Hobart. I simply have more reason to doubt that either team will be good enough to push Mt into the fourth quarter.

mr_mom

MHB just got a bizarre touchdown as the quarterback flipped the ball backhand while falling to the ground for a TD!
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Interesting to note, given all the comments his week about having the NCAC officials for the UMU game, I just heard on the webcast of UMHB-Wesley that they have an OAC crew in the game to determine who heads to Ohio next week.

Curious to know how crews are determined for playoff games.  I'm assuming its something like the top crews from each conference, but wonder how they're assigned from there.

Widener was way too one dimensional...they had no defense...they threw the ball 64 times and no holding penalties? Yeah, right!! And toward the end of the game a few of their fans were classless. Plus one of their fans actually had a shout out argument with Widener coaching/player personal. Crazy!!

Class and Widener have not really been associated this season.

I'm getting that sense as well, which doesn't jive with what I knew about Ike Collins.  Granted that was like 15yrs ago, but I recall him being a terrific guy.
