Linfield tried a double reverse 1st and 10 at the 12 yd. line in OT down 7 pts.  Fans are very upset, coach blows the game, with the call.   Oh well, this gives some hope to CWR next yr.

I'm astonished. I was rooting for Oshkosh, but gave up early in the second half, when it sounded like a trouncing. Way to go Titans! I must have missed the best part of the game.

We had a pick-six this week as aueagle, Bobert6296, Mt. Ypsi, Raider 68, Shark, and newbie Tommiegun all maxed out with 12 points.

[and for those of use who went contra to get back in the game, there is always next week!]

PurpleSuit
's lead has evaporated as the Peleton has caught him this week.  Only 8 points up for grabs next week, but between 15 and 25 in the final week.

Play on!

Best not saying anything about Widener,   UMHB a tough nut to crack,  Stagg bowl next week in A town.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.  To my ldeye, MHB is not the fundamentally sound team does well vs Mt.  Linfield, on the other hand, is very much fundamentally sound.   A couple weeks ago I too was a believer that MHB vs Mt was the Stagg, not so much any more.

I'm with Em17. watched the MHB / Wesley stream on my phone during the rout in A-town and listened to the Linfield/ Oshkosh game on the drive home. MHB did not impress, although they seemed to make the necessary defensive adjustments at halftime. Linfield, on the other hand, is sounding solid.

You can keep talking about UMHB, but I think you will be shocked at the strength and athleticism  of the players and the ability of our coaches!! But I'll take being the underdog anyday!! Makes it a lot more fun when you win!!

So much for my fundamentally sound argument.
That's why they play the games on the field instead of the spreadsheet.

Linfield hasn't answered the bell since 2004.  End of story......another year we won't see them in the Stagg Bowl.  And hey....Mount might not be there either, because they are playing a legitimate, tough MHB team.

Next week is going to be fun.  REVENGE!!!!!  Mount fans have been waiting!

Any MHB fans coming up to Alliance, you are more than welcome to join us Friday night for wings, drinks, and fun.  More info to come as it develops.

D O.C.

Before skunks post I was going to say sorry we let you down again. Sorry.

As an IWU fan, that is MR. Ypsi to you!  (But maybe YOU should consider becoming MT. Mom! ;D)

There are some that do call me Mount Mom, but that is only because of the size of my mannaries.

I'd fix my earlier post, but where would be the humor in that!   ;)

BTW ... Mount's 40 first downs ties the D3 record ... they are the 4th team to do that (coincidently enough, John Hopkins tied that same record earlier this year).

The NCAA record is 45.

mr_mom, How is your sister doing at her new job?   I haven't heard anything from or about her since she left LM.

To corrrect the Widener video crew: Mount last lost at home in 2005 - not 1996. And Mount going to Chester won't help the Pride since Mount is actually better on the road. And stop crying that Mount should be put in Division 1AA.

That's ridiculous. Amateur hour.

Just getting back to a PC so I'll address a few of these comments...

WU obviously hired the crew, but these were not the normal Widnener game crew...(they would have been worse ::) )

I do agree that this UMU team would probably beat about a third of the 1AA teams....

Anyway, congrats on the (Easy) win, and good luck next week.
