On the espn site it has for Sat. noon Div.III semi's at noon and 3:30PM. on ESPN3.  The 3:30 fits the eastern time for St. Thomas, yet, the Mount 2PM eastern start does not fit the the noon eastern. Plus you would have 2 games on at the same time.  So this will have to be cleared up soon.  Usually t.v. wins out.

Maybe a typo on Mount Union Site and its supposed to be 12:00pm EST...

Wow. HS Coach has mentioned Kevin Burke in the same breath as Bill Borchert. I always pause a moment when I hear the name of The Great Number 7,and reflect on a great play he made,or game he won. High praise indeed.

What link did you see this?  The ESPN-3 listing has the D3 playoff games at 2:00.  This is the first link that I found:

The WatchESPN App on my Tablet shows the game at 12:00pm Noon.

And the link you posted shows << to the left of the word NCAA, which I read as it started earlier.  But when I change it back to 1:00pm or 12:00pm it shows "Southeastern Conference Basketball" in that slot.

Maybe all the "stuff" hasn't been updated yet.

Not saying Burke is equal to Bill yet, or that he'll end up being what Bill was, but he has the potential to get there.  What I am comfortable in saying is that his sophomore season is better than any other Mount QB's sophomore season.  Including Borchert's, Ballard's and Micheli's.  And it has nothing to do with the statistical numbers.  It's the field awareness, poise and leadership.  The kid is one cool customer.  And when he struggles, it usually isn't for more than a few series before the wrinkles are ironed out.  If he works his butt off, which I have no reason to believe he won't, the sky is the limit for Burke.

Yesterday's Mount Union game got some press on USA Today's Go figure: The weekend's weird, wacky and wow

40: First downs by Mount Union (Ohio), tying its own Division III playoff record, in a 72-17 win against Widener (Pa.) in the quarterfinals. The Purple Raiders (13-0) gained 753 yards, 20 short of the playoff mark set by the 1995 Mount Union team. Widener came in allowing 297.2 yards a game.

Keith - Here's my thing. And please understand I think you do a great job for this website. But I have always thought you had a handle on what you were talking about when you talked about teams throughout the nation in D3. But as I have listened to your takes this year on Mount Union, and as they got more specific, it makes me wonder how much of a handle you have on the teams I don't know anything about. Because almost everytime you started getting specific about Mount Union this year you have been wrong.
