In the midst of all the draft news I wanted to tip my cap to LK the AD.  After a strong weekend (2nd in golf and their OAC record 30th men's outdoor track title) Mount all but locked up the men's All-Sports trophy again this year.  Baseball is ahead of ONU with ONU needing a borderline miracle to make the top 4 (and the conf tourney) so ONU mathmetically will not be able to catch the Raiders with tennis.  I know LK takes the All-Sports trophies very seriously and as AD he should.  Congrats to him for putting together a strong athletic department across the board.  I think there's some buzz building around men's hoops now too so it's definitely a fun time to follow the Raiders.

Btw, local Mount fans.  Guess who coming to town for the Hall of Fame game? Jasper will make his pro debut at tbe hof game, a la Pierre, and Kyle Miller will be in town too.  Lets paint Fawcett purple, show the NCAA how the Stagg could look. But I digress, the only two players excited for the hof game are Purple Raiders.

Shows you how laughable that website is.  I guess it might a better "experience" but the berg stadium/ old, ricketty soccer field is not so great comparex to the old place.   Theres no way their dozens of fans are the best.  I wish Big Mike all the best but come on

Who authored that list?  Does this guy have any credentials whatsoever, or is he just a guy who goes and sits in the stands like the rest of us?

Also, I'm not super keen on any list that has a "Worst team" and then says:  "I don't give this award out.  This is college football, and everyone is trying their best."

Quick, someone call Brian Cochran and tell him Heidelberg wants to hire him back!  Sure, he went 1-39 in four seasons, but he was trying his best.

Geez PurpleSuit! The guy who wrote that is just calling it as he sees it. I'm sorry you don't agree with him.

Dunno, that would be like if we ranked 1-120 and then listed everyone else as tied for 121st in Kickoff. :)

Agreed.  He never claimed to be anyone official.  He just said these were his picks- his opinion.  He went to 21 games in one season and was posting what he felt were the best and worst.  He's not even a Berg Fan.  He's entitled to his opinion.

You Mount guys are rough!   :)

Welcome to the board! We need more Berg fans.

By the way, I think you'll find in general we have higher expectations here than on OCF. :)

I do have to agree with you on both comments Pat. This is a great site for D3 football.

And bergdad...the Mount fans aren't all that rough... you find that out when they tell everyone what they think about when watching the movie Hoosiers. LOL, I'm still a little freaked out about that post.
