I forgot to post this but - I think Roman WILL NOT be on th field today. Regardless if it is all a mix up, he was released on bond which means it isn't over yet. I have always felt Mount (and other D3 teams) do right instead of looking the other way. The right thing to do would be to sit him until it is resolved and then make the call on what comes next. I am reminded of Trinity's QB not playing the Stagg a few years back. My two cents. Go Raiders!

Thus far the o-line is doing a nice job. Burke/Woods is a dangerous combo. I am impressed with the speed at which to Offense is moving - fast paced from the start. So much for my assessment of keeping it simple.

Mount going on 4th and goal at 1 - VK stepping on the gas! TD Raiders!! Germany Woods gets his first score.

Two number 2 on the field - costly mistake. Takes 6 off the board for the Raiders. I don't think I have ever heard of that before.

Good lord talk about a lucky break. Raiders block a punt for a TD but Franklin gets automatic first down because two #2 were on the field for Mount.

Minnich is having a great game as is Nicholls. Mount knocking on the door yet again already up 20-0 in 2nd. The o-line has not been mentioned at all today - which means they are doing a great job. And as I type this Minnich gets popped and fumbles inside 5 yd line. Griz ball.

Thomas More up 13-0 at the half. 

Some thoughts on what I've seen from Capital.  Though they aren't smooth yet at running this triple option -- they ran for 104 yards on 29 carries in the first half.  The biggest thing from that is the time of possession.  They held the ball for over 20 minutes of the first half. 

Talent-wise they don't compare to the top of the OAC but they could be onto something with this scheme once they get the hang of it.  Not bad though for only working on it in the preseason.
