Thanks Raider Guy. :) Great chatting with you during the Linfield-Case game and the Mt. Union-Marietta game. Thanks especially for providing tickets to a couple of long-ways-away-from home Catdome fans. All in all you made a good weekend great. Thanks for your gracious hospitality. :)

Week # 5's spreads are posted.

Sorry for so many games ... this is a much more interesting week than last.

Good luck!

Wonder how all of Heidelberg's fans feel after their game against Wilmington.  They've been unusually understated this week.

Perhaps I can do a creative impression of a Heidelberg fan.

"Big day for Heidelberg's offense.  Like a hot knife going through butter.  I wonder if the RAIDERS are getting nervous about the big showdown yet?  Maybe they're still worried about giving up 14 points to Etta while the mighty Heidelberg defense only gave up 12 to Wilma!"
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

I will only point out that Marietta led the game at one point.  And if I were at Marietta, I would've called timeout a la Lee Corso to line everyone up under the scoreboard for a picture that said VISITOR 7 MOUNT UNION 0.

Now, that is very funny and if I was a referee, I wouldn't even had penalized them. +K

Unless there is a monumental toe stubbing, everyone knows that all that matters for both UMoo and Berg is the last 3 weeks and unless BW gets better that week isn't going to be any challenge either.

You're forgetting that Marietta fans have not learned yet of that modern wonder that we call a still camera.  The reason many miss the trip up to Alliance is the simple fact that they cannot locate a navigable water route to travel via raft.

There can't be that "many" fans in the first place, can there?

Sorry to interrupt any banter, but over on the E8 boards, a few are discussing "greatest comeback wins" after determining that Alfred's win at Brockport State Saturday night, in AU's 118 years of college football, was just that. Alfred trailed, 28-0, at halftime and after missing a game-winning field goal on the last play of regulation, defeated their hosts, 34-28 in OT.

Someone over there inquired about Mount Union's greatest comeback win. Aside from the crazy win over UMHB in the playoffs last year, Pep can't imagine the Raiders ever had to come from behind to win....at least in the past 20 years.

On Saxon Warriors!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

On Saxon Warriors!

Mount had to come from behind to beat Franklin in the first game this year, but I would not put it in the "greatest comebacks" catagory.
12-0 = 13

I would say the time Mount Union failed to come back against JCU in 1991 and JCU won 20-20 was probably one of the best games ever.
