Kudos to Wesley. Don't really care what y'all say about it - Mount did not deserve to win this game. Yes they got the win but this was not a victory. Mount was DOMINATED today. You can question my fanhood all you want. Does not matter to me at all. The better team IMHO did not win today.

No it isn't. Mount won ugly against Heidi and JCU. This was Wesley losing ugly (i.e. Wesley lost, but the stats were ugly in their favor). Mount can only claim the scoreboard win - and yes it is all that really matters. Mounts D was pushed round and embarrased.

Wow. I just flew in from Europe and had no internet intil I landed and saw the last couple of minutes of live stats. Mount won which good, but game ended I read the OAC board and surprised how much whining.

Winning and getting tested is a good thing for a young team that has been producing results greater than expected for such a young team. If they continue to learn and gain experience from their journey will be a good thing.

Well Mt Union players and fans should be the best ones to vote on top D3 QB once this is all over. They have seen Reed Florence and Callahan and this week they get Spencer Stanek. Of course they have their own top QB candidate, KB. Lots of great QB play so far in Alliance.

Should be another great game for a chance to go to Salem next week.

What a crazy arse game!

I went from feeling bad for WesleyDad driving all that way to watch his team get monkey stomped, to "WTF is happening"!!!

We kept looking at each other and saying....."hmm...never saw THAT before".  It was the weirdest, oddest, wackiest game ever.

Little hint to VK.....WHEN YOU ARE  UP 14 WITH MINUTES LEFT, PUT YOUR DARN DB'S 20 YARDS BACK!!!!  Just a thought!!!  Still playing man/press coverage at that point of the game (especially after 5 just keeps getting beat time after time after time after time) is just ignorance, or arrogance.  One or the other.  Or maybe BOTH.  Oh...and the fake punt.....really?

Major props to Wesley for refusing to quit, and fighting back time after time.  What a game from Callahan.

Mount's offense is the real deal, but with the way NCC throws the ball, I am unsure if the scoreboard goes high enough for that game.

Wow. No. 88 for Westley was spectacular. Haven't seen that kind of  talent since Pierre left for the NFL. Congratulations to Westley 's kids and coaches for an unbelievable second half performance. It was as cold as a witch's  ---. This victory again harks to the 1998 team. A lucky win,like one (or two) the 1998 team had. It's an Omen.

Meanwhile, I heard a rumor there are other games being played today.

And, whaddya know - it turns out the good cold-weather team in Wisconsin is beating the good warm-weather team as they play in really cold weather.

I'm shocked.  Shocked!

A meteorlogical oddity. It was warmer in Pittsford NY than Belton TX at kickoff today.
