OK ... I was only going to post this to the OAC Pick-Em list, but I figure a few of you might find this interesting:

The numbers seem to favor Mount, but the passing defense is problematic for the Raiders.  Another classic in the works.

Go Raiders! 22.12.13

Out of curiosity, in what way?

^   You're looking thru the wrong purple tinted glasses.   Look for the ones with the little MTU logo in the upper left corner.   Put those on and re-analyze the numbers.    ;)
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Congratulations to Kevin Burke for winning the Ghoulardi trophy.  It's only fitting that a boy from Cleveland should win a trophy named after a Cleveland icon.

Haha, I love it! I had to read it twice before I got it. "Hey Group!"

Out of curiosity, in what way?

Mount scores 13.2 more points than UWW while only giving up 10.3 more points per game. That would lead me to believe points scored favors Mount Union by 2.9 points. How did you not see that?  8-)

Usually I say throw the numbers out the window, but in this case, the numbers add to allure of what could be an epic match up!

Congrats KB!

Pat.....you are getting to be a smooth operator as you mature into this "on air/on line" job.  Kudos!

Thanks - that was a blast to do and the kids were great. Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Desert Raider   "In truth I thought that it would either be Klotz or McKoy (due to his off-field aspect and tie-in to Newtown, Conn). I really thought it would hurt Burke since he was a Junior. I guess that just shows what a year he had - he won it even though he's a Junior.

Now that all the "hey you are all great guys" moment has passed - Go out and Kick Whitewaters A@@! (A poet!)

I respect UWW, I admire what UWW has done - they are more than worthy and deserving, yet I still hope they get monkeystomped by 60! Roll Raiders! Roll Burke!"      WELL SAID, MY THOUGHTS, JUST COULD NOT PUT THEM DOWN SO ELOQUENTLY!!!!!!

"Cole Klotz" has to be one of the great linebacker names in history.

Tis a great name - just hope he doesn't play like previous LBs from UWW (specifically Widduch, Raebel, and Rindahl). I really didn't like those guys.
;) 8-)

A HUGE congrats to Burke, a very impressive young man, on and off the field, and a worthy Gags winner!  I just hope that is the only contest he wins this week.   ;D

Watching the Gagliardi ceremony. And the winner is....well first we need the history of the award and Jostens....mention Coach Gagliardi....talk some more....re-emphasize the importance....all are worthy...the winner is......Kevin Burke!!!!!!!

Have you never watched an awards ceremony before? :)
