Just over 2 min left in the 3rd ONU forces Berg's first punt of the day.  That's huge in this game. And that's not sarcasm, that's the truth.  ONU can take the lead.

Also, I'm listening to the ONU radio feed.  These kids are doing a pretty good job.  Not your typical student radio quality.

Spurrier

Polar bears couldn't get a stop when it mattered late in the fourth...onu falls 69-52..
Why the defense ain't werkin'?

reality check

Dr. Acula

WONB 94.9 has had some legends over the years.  I'm sure you remember catching some Ada HS girl's basketball games called by realitycheck back in the early 2000's.... oh you don't remember.  Neither does anyone else besides my broadcast partner.
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

MUCRaker

Pat pegged the Tommy-Johnny game.  Funny how rivalries don't take rankings into consideration.

Dr. Acula

I can't get either audio feed to work tonight.  Anyone else having issues?

JCU's live stats barely has time to load before JCU goes 60 yards for a touchdown.  Was thinking about making the trip over the river, but I think I'll be better served following online and watching D1 on the tube.

Dr. Acula

Namdar came up a yard short of 3 receiving TDs in the 1st qtr already.  This one is getting out of hand quickly.

Dr. Acula

It's midway through the 2nd qtr and the thing I'm most interested in is listening to Nyejel Thomas do color for 91.1 tonight.  He's doing a good job.  Giving insight based on his knowledge of both the schemes and the personnel.  Easily the best color guy I've heard on WRMU.

(The reason I'm focused on this is because it's 50-0 already)

That has got to be brutal to fill that time.

JCU is up 31-0 at half.  It's clear.  This season is Mount, JCU....and everyone else in a completely separate class.  We'll see what JCU can do in Alliance, assuming there are no stumbles and everyone stays healthy.

Dr. Acula

The old 1st and goal FG on the opening drive of the 2nd half.  Have to think that's the last series for the starters.

Toph

Not kicking FG in U-Heights yet, but the starters can't be long for this game.  38-0, Myers is on pace for just under 600 yards passing and about 7 TD.

I have bad news.  Remember how I said Musky was really bad?  Possibly bad enough to lose to Wilm?  Yeah, well they beat Cap 36-20.  So next week may be even uglier than expected.

Spurrier

It was tough day for my two favorite Ohio teams so ms spurrier and I have no choice but to travel to Ohio next weekend and get things straightened out for the bearcats and polar bears....see you in Ada next Saturday

How many OAC defensive coaches will there be in the witness protection program this week? Looks like everyone is focused on offense this year. ;D

ohiofan1954

well I was planning on catching the Muskingum-BW game and was afraid of what I might see. It might still be a blowout but I don't feel bad about putting it on my schedule now.
