Spurrier says, "to be the best, you must beat the best.". Where my polar bears at?  In Dubuque this weekend for homecoming. I will report on the strength of the OAC vs the Iowa Conference having seen ONU and JCU play. My alma mater lost to two WIAC teams, but beat Pacific, interested in the difference in talent level between the two conferences

I didn't see it posted earlier, but the JV Raiders remained undefeated.  They topped W&J 31-2 last Sunday.

I spoke to my son last night and he mentioned the score. This was an away game with many guys playing who have not had as much of a chance to play this year. Way to go, JV!!

I have not been able to find a box score or video, but Jasper Collins had a 50 yard TD in the FXFL debut on Wed.

Pick-ems are not in yet...but they will be soon. I was looking at the ONU/JCU box score and it makes NO SENSE! The score was 17-10 JCU. I assumed from that ONU's D must have done something spectacular or JCU's O must have had some serious issues. Yet I see neither of them. ONU's D gave up 170 rushing and 275 passing...not exactly stout. But JCU had zero interceptions and 2 fumbles (1 of which was red-zone) - not great but not terrible.  On the flip side ONU's offense could not run it (88yds on 30 carries) and did not throw it well either (48% completion and 181 yards). Am I missing something? I guess I am scratching my head wondering how ONU hung with JCU when they seemed to excel at nothing on either side of the ball....and as soon as I pick Mount to roll 'em ONU will...nevermind I am not even typing it.

Do you scores from the JV games? I have asked about them in the past but with no luck. I like Mount's website and all the newer stuff but the "old" mountunionfootball.com always had the JV scores - I miss the site Ric!!! The UMU site has only the schedule.

I usually find the JV scores on twitter.  Or if I'm lazy I just ask bceagle! 

I miss Ric's archive of the audio highlights.  Those were fantastic to go back and listen to every so often.  I can still hear the excited call of "95 yards!!" from the Bridgewater game.

I just looked at the OAC slate this week.  Pretty boring week.  I guess the Cap/Ott rivalry game is probably the best match up this week.  I don't know if any other game is going to be within 4 TD's.  Maybe BW/Marietta based purely on the always possible chance that BW plays flat offensively.
