The bonus of not having a punter or back up QB as holder.  Kennedy is a dangerous option on fakes.

That was an ugly, ugly offensive first half.  And somehow they still have 333 yards and 38 points (albeit 10 of those weren't from the offense).  Positives were that Mitchell and Scott looked good.  Burke hasn't been sharp throwing it today save for a couple really nice throws on 3rd down.

D brought their lunch pails today.  1 first down and 51 total yards for the Cards?  I'll take it.

What has impressed me is that the D is getting good pressure with a 3 man front on 3rd and longs. OTTs QB just has not had time. He should have been sacked a couple times but is pretty elusive for a guy named Brick.

BTW: I have sent another email to WRMU with the correct pronunciation of Gagliardi. Wonder if they will read it?

Wow!! Taurice Scott with an unbelieveable play. Burke with a shuffle pass and Scott weaves all the way back across the field for 40. Unreal...if I had not seen it.  All right...so it was 24. Whatever.

Mount with an "unintentional" onside kick. Ball went up on kickoff and got blown back and recovered by Mount.

Remember when watching Taurice Scott play QB in mop up time was a reason to stay at games?  Yeah, well I'm starting to get that feeling about Jamal Johnson at RB this year.  That kid has made some highlight reel runs this year.
