The Kehres guys respected John Carrol and got conservative in second half and let the clock run.

Does Larry Kehres have an active and defined role on this team??  I thought he retired to let VK call the shots?

From what I understand LK is helping with Quarterbacks. Don't know if he is the QB Coach or not but he is helping with QBs.

Geoff Dartt is Larry's son-in-law and Larry wants to help him be successful.  From what I heard Geoff is very open to suggestions from his father-in-law.

He should be  ;D

No need to speculate about Myers. Let it go.

Could not agree more!  Let it go.

I know we're not talking about Tim Warsinskey anymore but like I said, I actually met him at an actual game, one that didn't even involve BW or JCU, so it's not like he just sits in Cleveland and writes glorified game stories.

That's all I'm saying.

Did we shift to Easterbrook? Too address HCAlums "libel" issue....it's only libel if it is false. I am not saying it is false, or it isn't - I don't know. But if the eveidence is out there then...where is the evidence?

Yeah my focus was on his departure from Pitt. Which I know for certain were not drug related, at all.

Oh I agree with you, that's why I was asking "where is the eveidence". In the day and age of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all that - it would be difficult to keep something like that from getting out. I figure if nothing has come out - its probably cause nothing is there.

Whats really scary to me, is there are men on this page who have "sources" with information about certain players going to bars or whatever the youngfolk do now in college.

Can't we let these young men be young men and not have their personal lives gossiped about on here like the D1 guys do??

I'm glad there wasn't D3boards.com for when I was in college -- I can assure you the stories would've been front page news around here.

Not to gloss over the game this weekend, but does anyone have a preference on the 2nd round opponent?  W&J would be a good test for the defense because they're one of the best offenses in the country.  Witt seems to be pretty solid all around, but I don't really think they're good enough on either side of the ball to really challenge.  Their D would definitely work the Raider offense harder though.  It's a tough call because I want Sirianni to win a playoff game, but I also enjoy beating Witt far more than W&J.

HScoach

Witt because they'll get Mount's attention more than WJ.  And  will be a better overall test.  Would be surprised if WJ is within 14 points of Witt.

Plus I agree with beating the OAC-defector is a lot more fun.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I prefer him to never win the PAC again at W&J  ;)

The two times I watched Witt play I have been unimpressed mainly by their offense.  But they also didn't lose to Waynesburg, so there's that.

Fixed that for ya.   ;D

I know there aren't a lot of us left from the early, early days but before d3boards, Pat's message board was called Post Patterns.  Hard to believe it's been "the boards" for over 11 years now.  I would have thought Post Patterns was around in your TMC days but I could be wrong.
