By my count Koudossou had 4 catches for 26 yards when the game was 49-0.  No catch longer than 9 yards.  That's above and beyond what you can reasonably expect against a great WR like him so kudos to the DB's.  Folks who didn't watch the game may check out the box score and think he lit up the Mount D again, but that was not the case at all.  He put up 200 yards after the game was over for all intents and purposes.

Having watched the game in person plus having the advantage of watching replays on ESPN3 on my phone I agree that Mount Unions DB shutdown Wesley's receivers.  i second the special kudos to the DBs.  Mount Union's defense is peaking at the right time.  Great team defense and unlike last year Mount's DBs are reacting to the ball and using their speed to get in position.  Last year on too many occasions the DBs didn't turn to the ball.  I suspect the significant improvement is combination of talent and coaching.

Or 5th.  UWW and Linfield right now is very close; if it stays that way, they may both finish higher than JCU.  IF UWW prevails and wins the Stagg, Wartburg would probably also finish above JCU.  (Of course, IF UMU were to go all Wesley on their Stagg opponent, JCU might finish #2!)

Several weeks ago, I posted that I believed that JCU would be the strongest team the Raiders would face this year and
that was before they played the first game on 11-15-14. Thus far that is true until we see how the Stagg bowl ends this
year. That is great for the OAC.

On today's game:.

1. Great team effort all around.

2. Aggressive Team Defense approach against a very talented team.

3. Kevin Burke is just amazing, what a great career for Mount Union, and he will go out a winner and one of the
    best QB's to wear a Raider uniform.

4. Great play calling and some new plays today.

5. Now it is one more game on Friday the the 12th title!

6. Wesley has a great team, but they were just overwhelmed today!

This game makes me appreciate and respect JCU much more.

I was thinking the same thing, especially now watching a surprisingly underperforming Linfield and relatively tepid UWW.

Great, smart, precision  play today by Mt. If we see today's Raider team and today's Warhawks next Friday, Raiders get #12. Vince's men were outstanding in just about every aspect today. Hope we carry it with us to Salem.  Warhawks just finished strong, as always. See you cousins next Friday at the reunion.

Way to roll Mount!!!  Wow, has my respect for John Carol increased.  Guess it'll be White Water again.  Looked like the middle was open all night for Linfield, and they used it a couple times with their tight end. Just not enough.  I hope we can do whitewater what we did to Wesley, and send LL away with a bad taste in his mouth.  Go Raiders!!!
