Something to think about as Mount prepares for their 100th straight regular season win against Wilm this week...since the 1994 loss to BW the Raiders are 209-1 in the regular season.  The OAC is down this year.  It hasn't been down for 20 yrs though.  That's truly mind boggling consistency.

Last week I went to the Michigan vs. Michigan State debacle. This week I'm heading over to New Concord, Ohio to watch ONU take on Muskingum University. I'm told the Polar Bears have some nice ball plays and some players that can really go. Let's hope the weather stays dry and stays warm like all those fall afternoons I have enjoyed in the Southeastern Conference. You'll find me and my son, Steve Jr., at the Hofbrauhaus in Columbus, (just love those pork chops and brats) after the game. No autographs please, but you can buy me an Oktoberfest if you please.

It's different.  There's a place called Hofbrauhaus in Grandview in that newer Grandview Yard area.  It's pretty good too.

I don't dislike the purple - not a fan of the chrome facemask. The white....the white has to go. Never liked white helmets (the classic Patriots helmet of course being excluded). But the white with the silver Raiders - no. If Raiders was in purple...no. Nevermind. White has to go.

You know your conference is stupidly lopsided when the best thing the fans have to argue over is the uniforms of the dominant team...

Not true. I have commented previously about the number of uniform combos Hiram (my alma) has had over the last 10 years. Hiram is hardly dominant in the NCAC.
