Mount has had focused, hard and crisp practices this week. They are ready and the defense took it personally regarding the number of points scored on them last Saturday. Albright will have its hands full as the defense takes it up another notch.

Hello My Football Internet Friends!

The Skunk contingent makes it annual trek over to Alliance for breakfast margaritas, and Purple Raider football.

There will be around 20 of us at Pancho's around 10 AM if anyone wants to stop by.

As for the game...I expect a lot of......RAIN!

Mount by 4 TD's.

I'm going to miss out on this year's run since I'm up in Boston for training.  Technically, I commute back and forth but with taking a trip to Cleveland to see TMC/CWRU, I've used up the football capital I had saved.

Have fun and say hi to everyone for me.

When black Friday comes, I'm gonna get in my picks.
I may not win, but as long as I'm ahead of Grizz.  [apologies to Mssrs. Fagan & Becker]

Make sure you shake off that tryptophan haze and get your OAC Post-Season Pick-Em selections in by noon Saturday.

Unfortunately, Head Coach Matt Campbell's players let him down today with their loss to Western Michigan in essentially giving the game away and costing them a trip to Detroit's Ford Field for the MAC Championship game.  Nonetheless, Campbell and staff have done a tremendous job this year and their record should be enough to get them into one of the MAC post-season bowl games I would believe.

BTW, SaintsFAN, I know what you mean.  I just can't make it work out this year either to make one of the playoff games or the Stagg Bowl (at least I don't think it will work out for the latter).  If that happens, will just have to catch it on TV.

A trip to Detroit?    I think his players did him a favor!
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

The MAC could have as many as 7 or 8 bowl teams this year do to some conferences not being able to meet their commitments.  Also Detroit is not as bad as some would seem. I go there every year for the races on Belle Ilse and the placing is coming back. Still a long way to go but a big improvement in the last 4 years.

I had hoped to come to game tomorrow but the forecast doesn't look good. Still calling for rain all day in alliance?

section13raiderfan

Pay the rain no mind. Raindrops are just snowflake wannabes. Dress well and enjoy the game. GO RAIDERS!
