With the students away and the rain the stands are a bit empty right now in Alliance

Covered stands filling up now as UMU drives long for a score.

6 1/2 minutes of Albright.    Defense is really small.  Not overly athletic either
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

MTU up 14-0. Blocked a punt for a TD. Going to be a long day for Albright.

Brian Groves took the ball off the punter before he got the kick off. First UMU special teams score of the season.

Taurice Houdini Scott scrambles and eluded everyone, then threw it right to an Albright LB.

Next play Albright connects on a deep pass.

No offense to Albright but the game was in hand on the blocked punt for a score. Wow. Albright had 30 rush attempts for -23 yards. Leading rusher had 11 yards and that was on a fake punt against the 2nd unit. They gave up 11 sacks (Mount D has 25 sacks in last 2 weeks) and 2 nice drives for scores to the Mount backups. HOWEVER - their WR are solid. Malik Johnson (#1) had a couple nice catches, #80 (maybe it was 84)was really good - and the WR corp had size. Youth (at the QB) didn't help them at all today. Solid game for the Raiders.

The car lot next to the Hood burnt down on Thanksgiving but the Hood survived with some wrapped siding.

The Polar Bears made a game of it for awhile.  Congratulations to ONU on an impressive season.

As far as Detroit as a whole, I will grant you that.  However, in reality, as ohiofan alludes to there are a few decent spots.  Ford Field is a great stadium and place for the football bowl game and the surrounding few blocks of Greektown with a variety of great restaurants and sports bars are excellent.  But, don't wander beyond that. :o ::) ;)  At the same time, you are right; the trip  up I-75 is so short from Toledo, it would not have been much of an exhilarating experience for Campbell and his team.

BTW, do you really think (other than the $), it would be the best move for Campbell to take the Iowa State job if it is offered?  That is rivaling Eastern Michigan as the "Graveyard of Coaches".  If it is good $ (and it will obviously be a larger contract and improved deal for him), I wouldn't blame him from taking it, however, I think he can do better.

New reports say Toledo is offering a big raise and are doing everything they can to keep Campbell.
