Candle is a first class individual and Larry Kehres has to be a proud papa with all his cubs getting these positions.

I watched a little bit of Candle's press conference.  He got a little emotional talking about LK.  He said he talks to LK everyday and he's a father figure to him.  And most importantly that LK gives him honest advice, not what he wants to hear and he tries to do the same for his players now.  I'm sure raiderpa is correct that LK is one proud guy today just as he was yesterday.  It's been a good week for his coaching tree!

Yes, congratulations to both Cambell and Candle as well as the other assistants that went to ISU with Cambell (Veidt goes from Head Coach at Bluffton to Toledo assistant and now follows into the "big time" with Campbell-wow!).

Also, it is now official.  Defensive Coordinator D.J. Durkin has left U of Michigan in being named Head Coach at Maryland today.  It is now up on the the Maryland athletic website.  Wishing him well as he is a neat guy and great coach.  Too bad for Michigan, however, a great opportunity for him.

Wonder if Candle will bring on some other DIII guys, giving them their opportunities.

No. Pg is correct. I was going to post "I don't think I will lose sleep over the Wesley game". Pat obviously new this and put my mind at ease. I hear he has other-worldly powers.

IMHO. As a follower of the board for years, i appreciated Purplesuits comments in here. They kept things interesting and entertaining instead of all the hugging and pats on the back usually given (Especially come playoff time). Its sports people!!! There is nothing wrong with a little competitive badgering. Sad to see him go...

You must not follow very closely. No shortage of attacks for the smallest of things (read back 10-15 pages). Regardless - I miss purplesuit. Why? Dude, the purplesuits rock!!
