One thing that really concerns me is that Mounts D is not tackling well. Too many guys getting away from contact.

If I hear another one of our Mount faithful trumpeting how GREAT the defense is, I am going to puke!  When are you people going to learn that until Mount plays in the quarters or semis, they don't play anyone that is any good.  It's been that way for the last forever (for the most part).  If the defense plays like this (which I think they will), we are going to get shoved around next week just like we always do against the WIAC. 

And then it will be can our offense line hold up against a strong, athletic defensive line?  Who knows at this point.

Correct.    The OAC sucks and has for a while.   The real season started today.

The second half was not confidence inspiring, that's for sure.  The O line had issues on the right side.  D had some missed tackles and blown(?) coverage.  I'm just happy to not see Callahan again.

In further interesting developments, Wabash has decided not to fight today. 

And Linfield has made the exact same decision, at least so far.

Skunks, you are wrong! Playing against an All-American QB your D is going to give up points. We have an excellent D. And then add in the fact your O goes stagnant...what do ya want?
