id like to see Tevion Cleveland from Perry hs end up at mount, perfect fit, little smaller in size,  like 5-7 155  but crazy skills at rb, wr, db kick ret, even played qb.. those are the kinds of kids that grow a little in college then people are like how'd this kid not get a d1 scholarship.

That kid is tough too.  You'd think at that size he's all outside, but he ran between the tackles a lot.  Not afraid of contact at all.

I'm guilty of many of the above language errors.   Though being an engineer that has marginal typing skills and even less regard for proper English, I don't realize half of the errors I make and don't care about most of those that I realize.

Then if you add in that I'm a farm boy from the sticks, it's amazing I can write at all.

I don't think it is just you HScoach, my Dad worked with an engineer (actually several - but one in particular) at GE for years. Dad always said, regarding the engineer, "4 years ago I couldn't spell engineer - now I are one".

I still use the excuse that I spell like an engineer.  I remember early in my engineering career when word processing programs were fairly new for PCs and often my spelling attempt resulted in the spell correction function of the program unable to offer any choices.  Today I find Google has the best tool for spell checking especially for technical terms.

Mr. Ypsi

Be very cautious with spellcheck, however.  Particularly when spellcheck was somewhat of a novelty, we profs would sometimes compare papers where words which one were harmless gibberish were now legitimate words, BUT often hilariously wrong words!

My personal favorite was a student writing about juvenile arrest records being, upon reaching adulthood, "atomically" expunged. :o
I couldn't resist writing on the paper "OMG, haven't they ever heard of paper-shredders!"

I saw a very interesting twitter posting Monday by Jeffrey Zupanic

Since expansion to 32 teams in 2005, there's been a max of 180 games for any D3 team to play & @purpleraiders have played 179 #d3fb

Very impressive stat.  I expect Mount Union to come back stronger next year and have a very good chance to go very far in 2017 D3 football playoffs to add to their impressive domination in D3 football since the expansion in 2005

A few years back Mount Union passed Wittenberg for the most total wins in D3 and since that time they have gone up by 11 wins because of how far Mount Union has consistently gone in the playoffs.

He wants to concentrate on academics in college and doesn't want to play sports.  I don't blame him.  He started as a freshman and took a beating for four years.   Great player, but undersized even for DIII.

What a coincidence!  Lots of schools came after me - HARD.  As a matter of fact, Ohio State wanted me to play both ways, quarterback AND middle linebacker, with maybe some assistant coaching on the side.

But I turned them down flat.  It was all about the academics with me.

He'd be undersized for a jockey - I'm sure that height and weight are "rosterized".

He's way too big to be a jockey.  They're usually under 120 pounds.

Will be interesting to see the QB Battle and if any of the Fr change positions or transfer.

All in All a great nucleus returning and the Raiders shouldn't be as inexperienced as this season.

I'm still very impressed with the playoff run, especially the way the Defense stepped up against UMHB.  Thank you to the Team for a Great Season!

I forgot that Skyler Scott took a Medical Redshirt this year and should be back next year as well.

As listed he is about the size of BJ.

According to the roster, BJ's about 20 pounds heavier (5'6 175) which can be significant at the lower weights.  Of course, it's comparing a HS senior to a college senior and I don't know what BJ weighed as a HS senior.

I'm in Northern Virginia and I know the owners at Pimlico in Baltimore are not letting a 155 pound jockey ride their thoroughbreds - maybe their Clydesdales.

there was a kid played at Otterbein a few years back, Conner Lucas, 5-4  150 maybe. he wasn't bad..wr..
