Matt Lowry was a freshman QB who appeared in several games as a backup for Burke in 2015.  He was in camp last year, but quit a few weeks into the season.  Played for the baseball team in the spring before transferring.

You have to feel bad for Dom Davis.  As well as he's played during the past two weeks in practice, his only game reps result in a fumble for a score, and he's immediately pulled.

I don't feel bad for him - sorry. The play was going nowhere from start - Chuck Moore in the booth even said "sometimes you just have to go down" - Yes, Chuck said that. Dom had nothing and should have gone down. He tried to makes something, fumble, score. With that many QBs on the sidlelines for Mount...next one up.

Berg 47 - JCU 21. Last week JCU 24 - BW 21 told me nothing...led some to think maybe BW was improved. Then Mount rolls them 55-7. Now I am wondering if JCU is not up to the challenge of last year. OR - is Berg that much improved?

Maybe in 2014. Burke wasn't QB in 2015 - it was Scott. Burke graduated. Still, thought it was odd that the announcers on the stream didn't mention it.

An exciting finish to St. John/St. Thomas...Johnnies just scored on a 45 yard bomb...20-17 with about 5 minutes left.

Looked at the stats on Berg/jcu (can't use caps on it anymore). Very even - looks like difference was 2 pick 6 at end of 3rd and mid 4th qtr. Berg gets 14 points without the offense on field - it aint gonna hurt your chances.

jcu struggled in a few last year but managed to get the win...and then got a come back win in Alliance. Not sure if this is struggling and they pull it together or something else. Still unsure of ONU (but we will find out in a week), and Berg - October 7 is not that far off. jcu however...they have to win out and get help - not the best position to find yourself this early in the season.
