TO JKNEZEK...
The Mount Union college radio station WRMU has a phone number that broadcasts the game.  You could actually call it, put phone on speaker and listen to any part or the whole game.

That is quite helpful, thanks! I'm sure my wife will appreciate it if I'm not asking her every few minutes what is going on...

Safe travels to all, to all DIII playoff games. ( and to those who are going to Florida instead) This is a special time of year, and we can't wait for it.  Then it is over and we go into withdrawal for another year.  But the next weeks will be exciting, disappointing, and sometimes exhausting.

I hope Mount gets to Salem, as I would like to say so long and thanks to the many people who have welcomed us over the years.  The community of Salem and surrounding area have been the best possible hosts and I am sorry they are losing the Stagg.  It will be very hard for anyone to match their hospitality, I really doubt it can be done.
I have never felt as welcome as I have every time I have gone to Salem.

Is this Teamline?  Is that still a thing?  Is it 1997?

The phone line is just a service that the college offers to alums and locals who cannot make it to the games.  They just started streaming this year with a minimal fee, so the phone line may not be around much longer, however, to those who use it, it is a convenient way to keep up on the Raiders.  The only negative is the college student broadcasters can be serious "homers" and sometimes in the past have chatted about campus activities like someone may care.  They also forget to give the score often enough.

As I've watched and listened to a number of broadcasts of D3 games this year, that has been a very common observation, even from UST's "professional" announcing crew. Or maybe I just space off and miss it, but I should be able to do that and still catch it again every few minutes. Especially when just tuning into a radio broadcast and trying to figure out whether it is worth hanging around for (and in some cases, the score updates don't happen very quickly or accurately making this more imperative).

Makes sense for Mount Union, it doesn't waste cell minutes as the OAC games are usually over by halftime.

I sincerely apologize to you, miac952 and everyone else for a dreadful choice of words in an earlier post. There is absolutely no excuse for such language. My emotions got the better of me after listening to all the trash talk by the Tommie faithful.
I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
And by the way, go Purple Raiders!!!!!!!

1997? good year for Mount.  The phone line is for all the alums that want to listen to the game but still call people the r-word.  I'd give a pass to the old folks who were alive during WW2.

I'm sure Wabash has tons of alums wanting to stream their playoff game on Saturday

We do.  It's definitely not awesome missing the tournament for a second year in a row.  But this tournament is great even when Wabash isn't in it, so I'm pretty pumped for Saturday.

As us inept Tommies like to say, Even a stopped clock is right once a day.

But seriously, that's an awesome accomplishment. Sounds like a great kid overcoming his cirumstances to do great things in life.

If only St Thomas football players could overcome circumstances and win a national championship.  It would be an awesome accomplishment.

FYI... Talk Radio announcers here in Los Angeles whom I hold in high esteem use the word 'apple' when discussing news like Weiner, Weinstein and Franken.
Their audience catches the drift.
Also handy is, "The guy acts like a retread."
Everyone knows they're not referring to tires.

No injuries!.
