mount does have very capable back up qbs, but man fulford was having a season. hopefully its just a game..  namdar, hardgrove now fulford?. never seen anything like this in the 90s early 2000s..

Namdar was acquitted.  That was a witch hunt and Hargrove was off of the team. 

a hazing charge in Alliance makes "sense"  How do you haze somebody in FL?

This situation stinks and I hope he's innocent, but if he's not, then you don't want that in your program. Let's see how this all plays out first.

I've heard of issues with players in the 90's as well. Honestly, I'm surprised that there haven't been more issues. 2-3 "major" law issues out of 100ish kids per year. I think Vince and staff have done well trying to limit the questionable attitudes taken each year.

Fulford wouldn't be the first Mount QB to get in trouble, he's just out of state.  College kids make dumb decisions.  I hope D'Angelo learns from this, he's far too talented to screw it up

I would guess Poorman get's the start if Fulford is unavailable.  Davis wasn't in the Media Release Playoff Roster.

Fulford - 1st
Poorman - 2nd
Powell - Roster

I'm pretty sure that you have until morning of the game to officially set your roster, so they could still add someone. I think it's like 10 minutes before kickoff or something. It's really close to game time.

I hope for Fulfords sake this isn't too serious. Poorman/Davis can get the team to the 3rd round for sure, but beyond that is a question.

I just meant if Davis wasn't on the original roster, he's probably not the next QB up.

Davis wasn't on the roster for the last couple of games.  Someone alluded that he was injured.

Its awful timing for it... had the arrest been on say, Monday, the team could have had QB2 get all the 1st team reps this week. 

I've been QB2 in a similar situation when I was in school.  As a sophomore, QB1 and 16 others were suspended on a Friday afternoon.  I had only taken #2 reps that week. 

I think this week, they'll be okay though.  They probably weren't planning to show much if they didn't have to.

Levell Coppage, who didn't play for Mount Union, was arrested in January 2013:  13 months following his final game for Whitewater.

I didn't say it was.  I was just bringing up that there have been a few OAC "situations" that have came up prior to a season and Coppage was after.  Those would have been "better timing" than right before a playoff game
