Official response from Mount Union:

So in which state of the union will Fulford be spending the day tomorrow?  Ohio?  Or Florida?

Saw another report saying he does not need to surrender in FL until 12/20/17, and is free until then:

"According to Stark County authorities, Fulford was arrested following a traffic stop on Wednesday, in which it was discovered he has a warrant out for his arrest in Florida due to a charge of battery. The sophomore signal-caller is a native of Miramar, Fla.

After being released on $5,000 bond on Thursday, Fulford is expected to be extradited to Florida, but does not have to surrender until Dec. 20 and is free until then."

I know I will take heat on this - don't care. I am disappointed in the Mount statement. Fulford's status as a student should not change but he should be removed from extra curricular activities. Sorry. Namdar was removed from team activities before his trial - I believe he actually left Mount for a year and went back to Texas; Lattimore (RB) didn't play after his incident at the dorms and before his trial. Fulford should not be on the field tomorrow. Maybe he won't be.

***BTW - if it wasn't Lattimore that was drunk and broke the window at the dorm while threatening his girlfriend then I apologize to him, but I think it was

Namdar was a witch hunt.  He was vindicated.  There's no record of Lattimore doing anything criminal.  I'm guessing Poorman starts until Fulford's issue is dealt with

As I recall the story was a girl threw a drink in Namdar's face and he pushed her away.  She claimed he hit her and a judge threw it out after hearing from several witnesses.  This was the story that circulated, but I pass it along as "heard from a fairly reliable source."

Could be! I see that Jeff Z. didn't post it, and of course we did not either and neither did the first story I looked at that included the statement.

It doesn't matter that Namdar was a witch hunt. He was removed from team activities. He didn't play or practice. I was not sure if the RB was arrested. Regardless - point made. He wasn't arrested yet he didn't play.

D'Angelo is an ambassador. A representative of Mount Union. All the players are. He should not play until this is resolved.

That = what I got. But namdar didn't play until it was resolved.

Just a reminder to get your 2017 OAC Playoff Pick-Em selections in before noon tomorrow.

Those who have already submitted their picks can make changes up to the same noon deadline if something comes up.    ???

My mistake. I thought I grabbed the link from Jeff's post. If I knew how to crop the image I would. My apologies

I agree with you in principle, but it sounds like D'Angelo doesn't need to deal with this ordeal until Dec 20th in FL.  And I don't think that "hazing" is that big of deal if he doesn't have to be in FL immediately.  I'm guessing he isn't fugitive #1 for the great state of Florida.

The local news is reporting that he will play this Saturday.

Roman Namdar was the victim in his case.  Accused and thought to be guilty right off the bat and then he missed a year of school and football.  It was BS from the start.

Not sure I agree with that.  In the Namdar case he was punished for something that was really nothing.  We do not know enough about this to judge.  I am not in the camp that says when one is accused they should be removed from activities they are engaged in.  I think each case deserves its own investigation to determine that.

In this case let step back a few years when I joined ATO at Mount I was "hazed" and assaulted when I was given a whack with a fraternity paddle.  If this is something similar from back when D'Angelo was 17 while I wouldn't give it my approval I do not see it as anything too severe either.  Maybe I am just getting old.
