Anygame I have ever attended (HS, College) has the teams at designated ends for pregame warmups etc. NOrmally the reserves line up across the field to separate the teams. Mount is the south endzone...for every game I have ever attended.

I retract my previous statements then, demonstrating that I'm just shooting from the hip with no real knowledge. If it's truly designated, I can't understand why the officials would not force them to go where they are supposed to go.

Sand baggers! ....  :P  MUC57... stud in a thong.  :o

BTW... UW-O outfits look hideous!!

His first start, in a payoff game, against a good team, with a tough act to follow, and the sophomore looks like a million bucks.
How do you bench this kid after his performance today?
You don't, in my humble opinion.
I will say that Luke's play surprised no one associated with the football team. He's been that good in practice from day one.

"Stud in a thong"? Thanks, I guess! What the heck does that mean?
Once again you have made me laugh, I think. 😎

To whom it may concern:

After yesterday's game, it should be increasingly clear why we wanted our 1st string QB to play. Who wants to see the backup start. After all, this is a quarterfinal and the backup has hardly played all year.
In case you missed it, here are his stats-such as they are:

                C.      A.         YDS.       LONG.        TD.       INT
PASS.      12.     16.        355.          62            6.          0
RUN.                 10.         39.           25           1.
TOTAL.                          394.                          7

Wonder how his backup would do? Damn, we really missed our normal starter.
It's called "depth" folks. Get 'em Raiders.

Anybody want to translate?  Why does it matter where Frostburg stood for the anthem?

I don't think the issue was where Frostburg was standing, but rather what they were doing down in the end zone.  I don't think this is a National Anthem issue.  I was down in that end of the stadium and the Frostburg players were very vocal towards the Mount sideline and in close proximity.  I think that is the more "offensive" thing for the Mount team, all of the chest pounding and bravado was prior to the National Anthem

btw the ESPN app has Mount @ Oshkosh at 1:00 EST on ESPN3

The Alliance Review is NOT the NY Times or Washington Post. The local, home town news paper does not do investigative journalism . Generally, it wants to sell positive features on the program and athletes, and reporting of the details of the game.  That is what Zupanic does and does well.  The Review management does not want to do anything to hurt its relationship with the University.  The Fulford issue was not going to be discussed by anyone on the Mount coaching staff, or anyone associated with the program. No local reporter was going to get any "scoop". All any reporter could do was speculate, which most posters have done on this site.   Not all newspapers, especially local papers, have the stones or the desire to pursue negative stories.  They will report the court reports and police blotters, but will not follow up.
Zupanic is doing exactly what he is paid to do.

+ K Outing the anxious speculation of ones who want information they do not, perhaps should not have, and anxiety's progeny: suspicion and blame.

Early weather forecast for Oshkosh has a high of 22, but no chance of snow.  Alliance is 32, with a big chance of snow, so Oshkosh might be the better locale between the two.

This could be a high-scoring affair, with TO's the difference.

Has anyone seen the postgame presser? I can't find a link to either. I wanted to hear Frostberg States coaches comments. I see the links for W&J presser.

Honestly, all the more reason why it makes so little sense to have had Fulford playing in the first two playoff games.  Mount Union cashed out a good deal of their sterling reputation for no good reason.

Thanks for the clarification.  Heaven forbid a team show up to Alliance with confidence and swagger.  I think the whole disrespect via lack of deference angle is silly, but whatever the Raiders need to invent to get pumped up for a quarterfinal game is fair game I guess.
