Anygame I have ever attended (HS, College) has the teams at designated ends for pregame warmups etc. NOrmally the reserves line up across the field to separate the teams. Mount is the south endzone...for every game I have ever attended.

Hey - thanks again for this. Page 15 is cool but page 14 (I think has the game timeline including this:
11:50 a.m. Teams return to field; visitors first, then home (go directly to team sidelines).

On Frostburg skipping the presser. The rule book http://www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/2017DIIIMFB_PreChampsManual_20170922.pdf
addresses that on page 18:

Media/Post-Competition Interviews. For all preliminary-round games, the visiting team will be the first team interviewed
at the conclusion of the cooling-off period. An interview area will open to all certified members of the news media 10 minutes
after the conclusion of the game; any coach and student-athletes requested by the media will be available for interviews. If
a team or individual is participating in an awards ceremony, they will report to media immediately following the ceremony.

It also has this:
All coaches and student-athletes must be made available for post-competition interviews 10 minutes following the conclusion
of the game. This not only applies to formal press conferences, but also to any interview requests made to coaches and/or
student-athletes not involved in the press conference. Failure to do so may result in a possible misconduct, as determined
by the respective sport committee.

Not sure if this is for the Championship (i.e. the final game only) or for the Championships (i.e. the tournament as a whole). Regardless - by skipping the post game and making no one available did Frostburg (in addition to copping out) violate a policy?

Just noticed my posts have a different format than seemingly everyone else. Have "Quote   Modify    Remove"at the top and a series of numbers down at the bottom.
What's up? Is Is that good or bad? Please let me know. Thanks.

Pat is probably busy, so I will answer MUC57.  That is bad. Really bad. You are on double secret probation!

Nah, that is because those are YOUR posts. All of our own posts look like that to us. Unless I'm on double secret probation, too!  :o

You'll have buttons for it once you hit a certain number of posts (200?  250?).

Thanks everybody for the help. I finally figured out those were only there when I was logged on. See, I'm not a complete basket case. OK, close. Thanks again.

200.  After that, every post you read (even for those with <200 posts) will add [applaud]  [smite] under the poster's info on the left side.

Early weather forecast for Oshkosh has a high of 22, but no chance of snow.  Alliance is 32, with a big chance of snow, so Oshkosh might be the better locale between the two.

This could be a high-scoring affair, with TO's the difference.

TOs ?

I think 'WRMUalum13' was questioning the punctuation, the use of the apostrophe.

No lol. I wish I was that smart,  for some reason my brain just blanked on what TO could possibly stand for   :P for some reason I was reading it as "time outs" could make the difference.

I actually meant the warm, apple/cherry variety that could be used as hand-warmers & sustenance on a cold Wisconsin winter day.   ;D

With a few tweaks, I almost misread this as a really cruel reference to the UST - UW-Oshkosh game last year. Thanks for the nightmare, skunks.

Wally...I have had the pleasure of meeting you in Alliance a few years ago when Wabash was here in the playoffs.  You are a good dude, and extremely knowledgeable.  However, I think you have been grinding on Mount, their fans on the board, and definitely regarding the Fulford situation. Why?

It's all good, skunks.  I didn't intend to challenge all of the Mount Union fans here- just the one who consistently drags the group down.  I'll try and do better to remember that one poster doesn't represent all of you.

My Concerns about UW-Oshkosh game:

After watching a portion of The UWO 4th Quarter Semi-Final game, they remind me of the UWW teams under Leipold.  Big, Tough, and Nasty.  Especially along the OL/DL and LBs.

I don't believe MTU has faced a team like that this year, so the key to the game will be to control the LOS.  Not necessarily MTU strength on Offense this year with all the downfield passing.

Also need to be able to use quickness to stop the UWO run game. MTU D is build for speed, not power.

I think the key for Mount will be to get some quick scores like last Saturday's game. I can't imagine the ground and pound of the WIAC schools will be able to play catch up if they fall behind or in a shootout type scenario. Will see.
