Greg Schiano is rumored to be interviewed for the New England DC position after Sunday's Super Bowl.  He has a history with Belichick and could easily be the hire, which puts recently hired Alex Grinch as the logical choice for DC at Ohio State.   Too cool.

I think Grinch was hired with the full expectation that Schiano would leave......especially after the Tennessee cluster.

True.  Urb knew, at best, he has Schiano for one more season.  Coombs is a bigger loss than Schiano would be, IMO.

OSU is sort of stuck with Schiano.  He'd be gone already if he wasn't...uh....Greg Schiano.

Howard Frazier from Alliance will be heading to JCU to play football. He played QB and SS for Alliance, but not sure where he will play at JCU.

Isn't his father employed by Mount Union?

you talkin bout Dean Frazier?  I could see why a kid would want to look elsewhere.  Isn't there an OAC free-tuition sort of thing going on?

Usually there are agreements between local schools. I think this also happened recently with a football coach at Malone whose daughter will be going to UMU.

the Dean of Students sent his son (QB) to another school?  Sounds like the Mount Union QB situation might not be as messy as all the D3FB fans want it to be

Marietta should get a return game from Geneva. Similarly, Heidelberg should get a return game from Olivet. Wilmington should go to Earlham. All three would be completing home-and-homes that were started in 2017.

Two very nice prospects that look like they'll fit perfectly in UMU scheme:
Kaleb Ambrose Douglassville, GA plays strong safety, can read, run and react well.
Ezekiel Tulloch Joliet, IL plays running back similarly to BJ Mitchell. Quick, strong, makes good reads, and guys miss.

Talked with Dean Frazier yesterday, his son chose JCU for a few reasons other than that his father is Dean at Mount.
He will play wide receiver for JCU not QB.

Always good to see football players running track.  It's one of my favorite things about D3.  The kids get to contribute to another storied program while they work on getting faster.  Looks like young WR Malik Britt and Darian Littlejohn are running sprints this year.  Sean Sherman is doing well again in shot put.  Louis Berry is also doing very well in sprints.  I'm sure there are more, but those were just some names I recognized at first glance.

There are some advantages to living out your college days on a campus other than one on which your dad holds a high profile position.
