Not a fan personally.  Stick with green turf.  I tease the guys that are anti-black helmets/jerseys and here I am one step short of calling for them to reseed the grass.  That being said if they chose to go with colored turf I'd think it'd be all purple a la Boise or EWU.

raiderpa

Who was it that remarked about artificial turf, "If cows can't eat it, I won't play on it.."

It was you that said it. Just now! ☠🏈

I like Tug McGraw's response from the same era, on whether he preferred grass or astroturf. "I don't know. I've never smoked astroturf."

It was Richie Allen,  that I was referring to, but I like Tug McGraw's comment better.  haha

Yes it was Richie Allen who had the famous quote which was "If a horse won't eat it, I don't want to play on it."

Allen was pretty good baseball player and had a fairly long carrer. In 1972 Richie Allen led the American league in home runs, runs batted in, and base on balls.

Just returned from a back and forth trip across Ohio to pick my daughter up from WVU. How many showers do I have to take to scrub that purple raider goo off?

By the way, I noticed quite a few Hawks circling while driving 80, a bit hard to tell from the driver seat, but they sure resembled a Warhawk.

I was the "head trainer" at Mount a long time ago before they professionals doing this job and one year the staff was myself and 4 young ladies that were freshmen and sophmores.  Funny thing is when a cheerleader needed attention the only male trainer is the one who work on those issues  ;D ;D ;D
