This is going to be much more like a track meet than a football game. Mount's offensive coordinator is a "bombs away" type of guy and he's never had a group like this. 55-14.

Oh! And by the way, the white helmets aren't makin' it (to paraphrase Dirty Harry). Too hard to see "RAIDER". Why not have the word in purple? Any other thoughts? I like purple helmets. ☠🏈

I was thinking the same thing about the RAIDER decals on the white helmets. Should've been in Purple.  I like them as a change of pace. Better that the Matte Black with HUGE M on them.

Do we really want to find merle? I had actually forgotten about him. Thanks a lot for mentioning him. I refuse to do your dimly lit room scenario. What if it worked? I remember an old expression my dad taught me - let sleeping merles lie. I think that was it.

The matte black helmets were/are dreadful. Give them to Minerva or  Marlington or Massillon or.....
Well, you get it. On the white helmets - better use black skull and cross bone stickers or they won't show up either. Maybe no plans for stickers on the white. Who knows? Go Raiders! ☠🏈

Not sure about this game. Who can cover the Mount WRs...I don't know but if they don't run the ball more JC will be able to drop an extra 2 into coverage. I like airing it out but I think the 1,2 , and 3 play drives hurt the Mount D more than anything. On the D side of the ball the DBs need to step up. Poor tackling against bw and going for the pick or the big hit cost them. bw moved the ball against the 1s and were able to complete passes 15 and 20 from LOS. On the run D I am iffy. They hit the holes and plugged it up for the most part but weren't as physical as we Mounties have become used to. I think Mount got lucky against bw - no bw was never going to win that game. Give bw players a brain and 2 teaspoons of discipline and that game is more of a battle than any of us expected. My Magic 8-ball response to "will Mount dominate JC" is: Reply hazy, try again.

7 of those I call garbage time as it was fourth qtr. bw padded the stats in the 4th with their first unit BUT Mount gave 14 in 1st half and if not for the taunting call it would be 21 or more headed into half time. The taunting call and ejection took the wind out of bw. Once Leverette was gone their O was not the same.

ha, I mean, who gets married in the fall?? If you insist on a fall wedding at least do everyone else a solid and have it be on Friday night. This week I am having to miss the following:

Army-Oklahoma
Texas A&M-Alabama

On a side note, not sure how I feel playing this game Week 4 as opposed to Week 11. It just doesn't seem right.

Getting married on game day is a bad idea. I got married on September 1st this year and my favorite FCS team YSU, had a historic loss to lowly Butler that day.. the football gods were telling me to get my priorities straight I think  lol

I'm not saying that's what happened, but I'm also not denying that it could be the reason it happened! lol
