I think Id rather have Taurice Scott than Fulford anyday of the week.

Taurice may be one of my all time favorite Purple Raiders. He was willing to do anything and he excelled at receiver and quarterback. It was so much fun watching him play bc the offense was always one play away from scoring at any time.

IMO, Fulford will make it into the top 5 QBs based on his desire to succeed. He will keep getting better and put up numbers for sure. It would be difficult to decide which who he would bump, but I won't compare until he is done.

Top 5 (Alphabetically)?

Borchard
Burke
Micheli
Smeck

I think I'd put any of them above Fulford at this time.  Put any of them with this talent pool and they'd do as well as, or better than Fulford.

Nothing against D'Angelo, just think that all five of these are better options.

Agree to a point, but IMHO Fulford with his running ability would get my vote for being in the Top five vs. Smeck

As a fan of a team that probably needs the at-large deck to get cleared a bit in the next two weeks, I'm all for this.

The other thing to keep in mind is that Smeck may not have had the trio of WR that Fulford has, but he had two big advantages over Fulford.  First, he played behind some of the best O lines Mount ever had.  He had an All-American at LT all 3 years he started.  He had 3 more AA OL on top of those LT's.  This year's OL is fine, but there aren't multiple AA on this line.  Second, Smeck was handing off to Chuck Moore.  Petro is very good, but Chuck Moore behind a great OL changes everything for your passing game.
