I noticed on the 2 deep this week that Williams is listed as Robinson's backup at LB.  Berry slid over to starting spur and Jalen Griffin is now the other starting corner (he also started for Brown when he missed).  Wonder if that's a schematic thing to match up with Musky?  I know, I know...it's Musky and it doesn't matter.  Just thought it was interesting.

JEM was also listed as RB2 this week.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Williams switch is for when we face offenses that go 5 wide. I'm not as concerned about 5 wide as I am to face a team like Brockport, UMHB, St John's or UWW that will run well and still be able to pass. I'd like to see the defense go with 4 down linemen against those teams, but we don't need to do that schematically vs most of the OAC, minutes JCU.

This is also the time of year where we will start to see more young guys in the 2 deep. Nice to know that some young guys are pushing for playing time.

I just don't think a TRIPLE ANKLE TRANSPLANT SWITCHEROO is all that crazy here in this case, considering Mount Union got the NCAA to name a bracket of 8 playoff teams after the school.
