Fulford back in.  TD pass after Mules fumble

Just lob that fade and let Hill go up and get it.  Hill loves those jump balls.

What about the unsportsmanlike?

Muhlenberg hasn't driven the field yet.  they haven't had to, that is   Two TO's in UMU territory and then a drive aided by 30 yards in penalties, thus far.

If they enforced it on the PAT I'd be screaming at my TV.  Still dumb, obviously.

This is not a typical mount offensive performance

HScoach

Ugly day for passing the ball.  Cold, wet and windy.   Hill, who is one of the few receivers to not wear gloves,  already has 3 drops.

Been impressed by the muhlenberg O-line as Mount has zer ok pressure on the QB.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

FYI , Muhlenberg Defensive Coordinator is Kory David, who also coached the Hobart Statesman Defense two years ago and had the Hobart Defense keep the 2016 first round game in Geneva close. Kory was Eagles  Asst. Coach under Andy Reid and IMO best DC in D3 football.  Hobart hated to lose him , but wife works for Eagles and Allentown is close to Philly. Mount Union should pull away based on talent but David has his team well prepared and will do everything to frustrate the Purple Raiders. Also, HC Milne is Hobart 2003 and has done a great job this year. They are not trying to lust look good, the Mules are trying to win. David against Goliath in the second half.

offense looks like they don't wanna play today.  just going thru motions. fulford not engaged. better come out a different team in the second half.

Dr. Acula

They better hope Ruth can play soon.  The drop off is massive.

This is really uninspired offense. To the point where the defense seems to know equally as well what the playcalls are going to be.

Also, it looks like Mount is experiencing Ohio State's previous RPO problem: the QB is not a threat to run, so there is no need to key on Fulford at all.

On the field goal, "He got the kick through the crossbars."

I thought that was what I heard.   ;D

After watching Keeney last week, I am more than happy to seeing Petro in the wildcat today.  However, what is the message, then, to Keeney .. or any of the backup QBs?  Regardless, props to Keeney for the Denison game.

But, "Hello, defense ... the only play is a Petro run!"

But, working!

This is a shade of a style of play I usually attribute to UMHB, "Everyone here knows what we want to do. Stop us."
