Louis Freaking Berry!

The man, the myth, the legend! He was the one that forced that. And credit Gabe for making up for his PI.

Someone please tell Dustin Fox that Lou Berry is blitzing from the Nickle position, not corner.

You would think a former pro DB would know that.

And BERRY again!

It isnt over yet...

Stopped sending the extra blitzer. Mistake. Should have played the same defense that got them here.

No one can say that Mount didnt get there test that everyone thought they needed.... Alot to clean up if they are going to bring home #14

I was on the edge of my seat to the very end ... wondering if Fulford might fumble the snap in the "Victory Formation."

Weird to think that had Poorman not transferred he wouldn't be hurt, and would likely be the starting Quarterback in the Stagg Bowl.

Ugly QB play today, but with that defense, all Fulford has to do next week is not lose it.

A little post game question for VK. Up 2 scores with under 4 mins left.  JH has a backup qb  in. Why go soft on D? No pressure. Only brought 3. Why?

Dont say that. D'angelo might take that as a dare.

David Tammaro
27-40
250 yds
0td - 2int (both pick 6s)

D'Angelo Fulford
12-23
210 yards
2td - 3int (two in the red zone, and one telegraphed), 1 fumble-six

We all killed Fulford today, but if Tammaro was the better QB on the field, it is going to be hard to tell by the box score, and even watching it live just showed what we always thought of Mount's pass-D: they are going to get beat or get Turnovers with nearly no in-between. Tammaro helped them move the ball some, but they converted less than Mount with Fulford, even with much better average starting field position.

I understand having lots of trust in your receivers to go up and make plays for you (Hill even did it a couple times), but knowing the game situation is a thing that he has to learn (if for no other reason but to not leave points on the board). He looks to have gotten too comfortable with Ruth and Hill bailing him out on jump balls so he keeps putting them up.

This.  Also, the constant "throwing off the back foot" thing.  (Which you can't blame on the ankle because he's always done it.)

On the other hand:  "Survive and advance, baby.  Survive and advance."
