I normally watch the game at BW3 in Fairview at Westgate but I dont see it on watch party list. Had a good crowd last year.  Wonder if I will have to find a new place this year.

BWW in Alliance? Always has lots of Mount fans!  ;D

That is true. Not sure I want to drive 90 mins to watch and then 90 mins back. Depending on the result that return trip could be littered with speeding tickets and road rage citations.

Also I think we have to give fulford credit for the comeback against Oshkosh, the kid played out of his mind after the early 3rd quarter pick 6. He finished the day 28-42 1 td 1 pick 330 yards. Oshkosh didn't have a great defense but any semi final defense is pretty darn good (maybe except Mount's in 2013)

You ABSOLUTELY have to give Fulford credit for that second half.  What's great is that he, his coaches and his teammates all know that he has that game in his back pocket.

One time, years ago when I dabbled in some recreational tenpin bowling, I rolled a 275.  That was about 50 pins better than I had ever done before or since and well over 100 pins better than what I would say my average game.  I don't run around telling people that I'm a 275 bowler, even though I did it that one time.

The preponderance of evidence right now says that the last 25 minutes of the 2017 semifinal was DAF's 275 game.  He was phenomenal and he also hasn't been close to that in a big game against a good team before or since.  I think, at this point, it's folly to point at that Oshkosh game as his baseline.

Another way to look at is...I scored 4 touchdowns in one game for Polk High...and I will tell everyone about it....forever.

Way I see it is the focus is too much on what he did last year. It was LAST YEAR. All the talk about him being 29-0 is fun but he is 14-0 and has been a non factor thus far in the playoffs.  I am concerned about his confidence.  When he got pulled last week ESPN showed him on bench and he looked off...for lack of a better word. Then they put him on 3rd down and pulled him again and he looked deflated. How long does that stick in his head and how it affects him Friday will soon be seen.

I, for one, am not saying that's Fulford's baseline.  I'm saying that's what CAN DO, because he's already DONE IT.  And everybody on his team can take https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTtSFoyS2zw from it.

I saw what I thought was dejection/lack of confidence on his face also.  I hope it was understandable anger because he had been taken out so Mount could run an offense (continuous wildcat without any deception)  that hasn't been seen outside of pee wee football in about a hundred years.

Regarding switching players in and out. I do admire VK and staff on being willing to adjust in game on utilizing your best players and different formations in order to win games. I have witness many times over my years a coach being unwilling to bench a player or adjust an offensive scheme to win games.

No, I agree it was a good adjustment by the Mount coaching staff.   I'm just amazed that the defensive coaches for JHU couldn't make an adjustment  to stop it.

It's not like it was a surprise.  Mount had run it in previous playoff games.  JHU had to prepare for it.

Was just going to mention that. Also remember when wildcat was all the rage in the NFL for like 1 season? I feel like it was around 2010 ish
