Congrats to Lou Berry on winning the OAC title in the 60m dash.  Lou broke the OAC record and ONU track record in the event yesterday.  OT Sean Sherman also won the shot put.

I've been trying to keep a little running tab on guys that have "committed" to Mount Union. This doesn't mean they're coming for sure obviously, but at least a small preview. If I miss any that people know of, please add. Good looking Oline so far. Some little speedy receivers (a couple remind me of BJ Mitchell... Not yet obviously)and undersized, but high motor Dline.

+k for the leg work pulling this together.

Interesting that there are only 5 OH kids on that list.  Once again they're hitting MI hard.  And 3 kids from Memphis?  That's a new area.

Wonder what/how they got into Memphis?  I bet Texas/Oklahoma is next.

Pretty impressive seeing where the kids come from for the UMU program.

Who does Mount think they are with those many recruits from various areas? Johns Hopkins.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Heard rumors and saw on Twitter that Chris Kappas is going back to defensive coordinator and I think Dartt will go back to offensive coordinator barring any health setbacks.

Dr. Acula

Per his twitter, former Malone HC Fred Thomas is joining the staff at Mount.  No surprise there given his ties to Alliance.  Great to have a coach with that resume on board.

hopefully these new football league's stick around for a while, I think you'll see a lot of d3 players getting a chance. Too bad Kmic never got a shot at any kind of pro ball. Although I think he may have played in some Finland league or something..

I like that move, I thought the offense was more consistent with dartt running it.

My thoughts as well and I feel like there were times (Stagg Bowl) where bring head coach and Defensive coordinator hurt them. I'm thinking of the miscommunication where Berry blitzed and nobody filled.

Having Coach Thomas on staff is exciting and couldn't hurt. A man with his experience is a welcome addition!

I went to the article about Kevin and saw another article that said Johnny Manziel has been fired from and banned from future employment by the CFL for violating "undisclosed" terms of his contract.  What a difference between these two men.

Kevin Burke signed with the Memphis express of the AAF!

Unfortunately, Kevin has already been released. But it's a good sign for him that an AAF team signed him. Makes it more likely he can snag another spot elsewhere in the league. Or keep him on the radar for the XFL.

Signed and released in the same day?  Like buying and selling commodities!

No the article I linked reported the news late, Burke was signed on the 20th and was actually on the active roster as 3rd string QB for one game, then released.
