The running game is in great hands with Petro and rumors of a great RB moving in from D2.  Passing game may be lights out with possibly one of nation's best wr and supporting cast is very strong, so strong a good wr moved to defense. QB is healthy after off season surgery to repair torn ligaments in ankle.
o-line may be strength of team and this bodes well for the aforementioned.

D-line will possibly go four down, lots of experience there and lb's look  strong.  Db's may be Achilles heel, but d-line can help there, we hope.  Punter looked very good in practice, do not know about pk.

Have been to all the practices and was there Saturday for the joint practice with W&J.
Although a fan for many of my 83 years, still don't know all the ins and outs of what's going on. So, you won't get detailed info from me but I can say this: Mount is looking really good. The skill players are sharp, the O-line is ready to play and the defense is for real. They'll be OK this year.
I said you wouldn't get much info from me but I do like what I see.

What do these units do well? I'd like to look for these things as an outsider.

A little note on Brandon Lee (transferred from Mount Union to Akron). He had 10 rushes for 34 yards and 1 catch for 12 yards. Sure wish he would've stayed at Mount.

OAC Fans

As we begin the 2019 football season, I wish the very best to all our teams.
We rag on each other about our sports teams, talk about which team is better, why your team got lucky, why we SHOULD have won and a plethora (damn, I love that word) of other sports type "stuff"!
But, in the end, we still remain 10 schools that are similar in so many ways. Good academically, small in size, dedicated to a liberal arts education and devoted to the education of it's students. All with the goal of preparing students for a productive career, whatever form that may take.
So, Good luck on the season to everyone from Baldwin-Wallace to Wilmington and all those in between. Play hard every game. Bring pride to yourself, your school and our great conference.
You know what I often say. I say it now with raised voice (or, at least, with dark type).
