Besides Dr. Acula, and a few others, is anyone else out there? We have received two nice honors from ESPN. Picked in the top 150 programs in football (No. 16 and the highest Dlll school) and in the top 150 greatest teams (The 2012 team, the only Dlll team recognized). Come on, guys (and gals). Where's the excitement? Where's the cheering?
Get on this board. Let's talk about the Raiders and the OAC. Let's discuss other teams around the area and the nation.

Actually, me too. Although tomorrow, at 12:00, in Alliance, the Raiders JV plays the Blue Streaks JV.
I'll be there. Of course, alums, of either school, who live in Chicago, probably won't be there.
Best to both teams.

Results of the week two of the 2019 OAC Pick-Em contest have been posted.  bluestreak66, desertcat1, matblake, rscl70, and wally_wabash led the way with 9 of the possible 14 points.  Kira & Jason's Dad continues to lead by one.

Mount JV's scored on a pic six and two bad punt snaps that led directly to TD's.  The offense moved the ball mostly by passing, but did not score.  JCU offense was spotty, but had some nice drives that did not turn into points.  Mount JV QB was fairly on target, but could not lead them all the way to the endzone.

Gentleman, it's BW week.  The annual ritual of reminding them that they're not a top tier OAC program is one of my favorites.  Dan Larlham is not walking through that door.

The way the scheduling falls this year it reminds me a little of Braveheart.  We can go back to the Scottish clans (JCU/UMU) in-fighting to rule next week after the battle is won, but first things first...we all hate England (BW) this week!

Doesn't BW hold some record for the most seasons in a row being mediocre?

I was actually just on their website. They have a tab for future schedules. For 20 and 21, they only have conference games posted. Apparently, they haven't found a mediocre HCAC team to play an embarrassingly close game against yet.

And Jim Tressel's dad used to coach there!  One time Jim even came to Berea!!  I'm just sad that with Hilvert there now I can't bank on their inevitable march to 6-4.  Hilvert is too competent.  They'll probably keep winning 8 games now.

But...but..but I'm English!!! Can't they be Canada? Nobody likes Canada - or how about BW is French-Canadian. Nobody likes French-Canadians - not even the French (because they're not really French) or the Canadians (because they claim to be partly French).

Lived in Westlake 1982-1995, take Columbia Road to I480 east to Rt. 14, Rt. 14 to Rt 183. This will take
you to north side of Alliance. Rt 183 South to State St, go west to Campus.
