While I know the Mount JCU games in the past have been close, I do not see this one to be that way.
After reviewing the stats, if that is a reasonable basis, the teams are far apart in many categories.
I could be wrong, but I believe that mr. mom's spread of 20.5 is more likely. we'll see!

Regarding the JCU- Mount rivalry, there is more mutual respect shown each other than that of B-W.

Last week's game pointed out areas of improvement (pass defense for one) for the Raiders, but I was pleased with the final outcome.

Game day! Had a jc troll go out of his way yesterday at Meijer to point out his jc hat (literally walked across produce section, stood in front of me and pointed to his hat, then walked away). Whatever. All I said was "sorry about that". The keys for Mount - Be Mount and do Mount things. DBs just need to cover the 10-20 routes - give the pass rush time. I expect to see more looks on D to get pressure. Stop the run. Make jc one dimensional. Stats are what they are - Canganeli can play and Mount knows it.

I expect jc to come out hot. London Fletcher being inducted, the blimp thing, I expect alot of emotion early. For jc - handle the emotion better than bw. Last week bw didn't beat themselves - but still had the 3rd down cheap shot on J Hill early that drew a flag, gave Mount a first and kept Mount punt unit off the field. jc can't afford those mistakes.

Not sure on spread. Mount has not been consistent on O and has given up several BIG plays in the pass defense. If Mount keeps it in front of them and gets the pressure they should from the front - 20.5 may be too low. Mr Mom's spreads are normally scary good but if the O remains inconsistent and can't give Fulford more time 20.5 may be too high.

BTW is it just me or has Fulford taken some bad sacks? Just seems unable to feel the pressure and bail out like past seasons. Roll Raiders!

I looked up two computer rankings for the game and they predicted a 35-14 mount win and a 34-12 mount win. I'm thinking somewhere in that range sounds right. I don't see JCU being able to score, since their strength has been running, which Mounts D has been really good against. And despite inconsistency this Mount Oline has had flashes of brilliance. If the Oline is clicking Mount just has too many playmakers to put up less than 30

Mount looks better than they have thus far. Crisp passing and Harvey is the man. That sack on Fulford for 11 yard loss is a bad sack. The LB ran in from the dorms and D'Angelo just did not move.

Currently men playing boys.  O-line play has been up & down.  Fulford has been very solid & JCU cannot match up to our skill players.  27-0 Mount with 6ish left in the 2nd quarter.
