Halftime.
20-0

Time to switch to my recording of OSU/Wisc.  Never watch anything live anymore.   DVR and fast forward thru the commercials and halftime  = watch entire game in about 75 minutes.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

With this putrid weather I don't imagine you're gonna miss much besides a slew of handoffs in Tiffin.

There was some serious Drama in Belton today, UMHB escaped with a last second field goal against Hardin Simmons. Would not be surprised to see Mount pick up quite a few more 1st place votes this week in the polls.

Results of Week #8 of the 2019 OAC Pick-Em have been posted.  Scores were all over the place as many games were affected by weather.  Bobo and smedindy shared medalist honors with 11 of the 16 possible points; six other folks were right behind with 10.  NCF continues to lead, even extending her lead slightly.

Spreads for Week #9 will come out Monday night.

NCAC'er here.

Just seeing the scores, is this Capital team the worst OAC team in a while? They seem to be worse than Wilmington's dregs, according to the scores.

What the heck happened? Is it the AD, administration, or what? I used to know people at Capital in the mid-00's and they were proud of their team then.

When you get a chance, go back a couple of pages here as a couple of posters who know had some answers to your questions. I was wondering the same thing.

The weather in Ohio was absolutely horrible for football yesterday.  I would think the Mount Union's passing yardage may have been the lowest total in decades.  Watched the end of the UMHB game on computer, man were they lucky, but give great credit for getting team on field for last play.  Hard to believe they pulled it off so quickly without procedure.  I think that is why HSU coaches were so irate.

Also almost effectively eliminates a potential Pool C contender, good news for JCU and BW which is once again looking to be a Play-In game for the playoffs.

I also watched the end of the game and UMHB is the better team but HSU has there number for this game.  HSU punter got on 18 yard pump off with 1:17 left in the game do give UHMB the ball on HSU 47 and as time is running out UMHB with a 4th and 2 gets kicking team barely on field in time to kick a 43 yard field goal as time runs out.

I didn't see the end of the first half, but from looking at the play by play records the HSU punter had an 8 yard punt that gave UMHB a chance to try to score before the half but the UMHB kicker missed when he hit the crossbar on a 45 yard field goal attempt.

After the first couple of series where the ball just went through the WR's hands a few times my heart sank knowing I was about to see a loooot of hand offs the next two hours.  I'd agree with you as you'd have to think that excluding injury that's the least passing yards for a Mount starting QB in ages.  The positive is that I'm sure the big boys up front were in heaven run blocking in the rain all afternoon.  That seems like an O lineman's dream.

Mount Union quarterback D'Angelo Fulford is still the nations leading passer. I cannot recall another Mount Union QB ever in that position, let alone for consecutive weeks. I doubt even Mr. Negative can find anything wrong with that? Maybe he'll just take another cheap shot and leave it alone. I am proud of his position coach,a former teammate.

Kevin Burke was never in that position?

Nothing against Mr. Fulford, but I suspect there have been others with a top ranking.
