Are we talking student radio? I always liked Noah Hiles. Great student to have. Did a great job and was really into the call. "Nobody gets off Tre Jones Island!" Or better was his call on Tre's pick against ONU senior year.

Noah did a great job, same with Joe Mertens. Jesse Meade and Billy Hassinger In 2010 and 2011 are probably my favs... well at least besides the crew that covered the 2012 championship season, but I'm kinda biased  ;D

I still have a clip of my favorite moment as a broadcaster, the end of the 2012 semi final game against UMHB https://soundcloud.com/kandrase/mount-union-final-drive

We thought it was our "Do You Believe in Miracles" moment lol.

I just saw a news release on D3football which reported

Today, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed, limited edition bobblehead commemorating the Mount Union Purple Raiders' 13 Football NCAA Division III national championships. The bobblehead is the first of Mount Union's mascot, MUcaw, and features MUcaw holding a replica national championship trophy and his sword, while 12 additional replica trophies are on the base of the bobblehead. The bobbleheads were produced exclusively for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum by FOCO, an official licensee and manufacturer of Mount Union merchandise.

We should start a petition to get a Bobblehead of MUC57. He would be most deserving.

Hmmmmm.  Wondering if I should wait for a potentially updated version?

It is a pretty substantial bobblehead -- as I put it on my shelf with some of my minor league baseball bobbleheads, it dwarves them. And it's a pretty complicated design. Obviously it's up to you folks to decide what is a price point you're willing to pay, but it's a significant piece of work.

I can hear it now "this is why Mount always gets home playoff games. Coleman's a fan! He wants them to win so he makes sure they play at home! The fix is in!:

Touche!
As soon as I buy something with all the championships on it, they win another ... So good reason for me to get one now!
The FanFoam "Raiders" was $35 plus $15.95 shipping ... from about 35-40 miles away ... but like they say, "Gotta have it!"  Ounce for ounce, the bobblehead is probably a better deal.

The more I see Plunk play, the more I like the idea of getting the #2 guy live early-game reps against (mostly) overmatched teams. Kehres still gets to say there is a #1 guy (that's still D12 even if Plunk looks good), but he gets the back-up meaningful reps and lets him say to potential recruits that they will still play and put up some numbers until it is their time.

And Trey Williams has clearly treated losing that cast like taking the weight of the world off his body. I am only listening, but it sounds like he is everywhere today.
