YUP!

3rd and 19 at REDLANDS48   Luke Poorman pass complete to Luke Poorman for loss of 6 yards to the UMHB46 (Brandon Serrano).

That was on old MUC play from the late 1970s ... the Toth-to-Toth pass.

HAHA! Of my four years of attending all home games (since I was in the Marching Band - 1976-1979), I remember only one play - Toth to Toth for the score! I have no idea who the ball bounced off of, but I can still clearly see that play. I don't remember how many yards the ball traveled each way, but it was fairly significant. One of the funniest ones I've ever seen live!

good to hear about the balls being soaked.. looking up nc players.. looks like there running back is a stud.. mounts shut down some big rbs in the past tho. hopefully holds true. I think the d will rise to the occasion.. maybe more of a bend but don't break look. wonder who will be kicking the xtra points and field goals..

My prediction is Mount 42 - NCC 20. Tight game at half, but DA and Hill put it out of reach in the 3rd Q on a couple big plays.

I hope all you prognosticators are correct, although if you are, I just gave everybody a free 2 points on the Pick-Em as I only set the spread at 7.5.  ???

This should worry people. Seriously. Your spread tends to be far more accurate than the prodigious prognostications of our prevalent prognosticators.

so far looks like u couldn't ask for crappier weather. rain , sleet , snow to start the day then possible heavy rains all day long.. Vince better be soaking them balls in a 5 gallon bucket of ice cold water b4 each play at practice..

I've watched the coaches soak the balls in practice. They'll be ready.

Soaked balls?  Reason #1 why I left coaching and entered broadcasting.   It isn't bad in August or September,  but come late November it can be a bit uncomfortable.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

There's no crying in baseball football?

Oh, THAT Jimmy Dugan! ;D

It's ok. Given your advanced age  ;D maybe you confused him with Jimmy Durante "Hotch-cha-cha-cha!"

Did not confuse him with Jimmy Durante, whoever that is.

Mount Union quarterback D'Angelo Fulford was named yesterday the OAC Offensive back of the year for the third time. The first player in sixty (60) years to win the award three times.
He also finished the regular season the leading passer in the nation.
Not bad for a guy who didn't even make D3Football.Com's third team.

Every year is a new year, and the games which will help people make those determinations will be played here over the next few weeks, for sure.

I'm with you '57 ... I was thinking Jimmy Dugan, Sigma Nu, MUC class of 1981.

Pat, can I get away with a ball-soaker joke without being tossed?    ;)
