I remember Larry Kehres directing the snow removal before game and at half time. It was a great game.

After watching the video, my only question is: Where does "TREVOR" Burke rank on the list of all time great Mount Union quarterbacks?  Above or below his twin Kevin?

I was at the game last week in Alliance and I had the video feed on my phone for most of the second half. The video streaming was sourced to a NCAA page and appeared to be the same video as shown on the scoreboard in the stadium.  I watched some of the replay videos on the scoreboard then a few seconds later I could watch same replay on my phone.

I didn't see the whole game online, but there was one play where they didn't have the replay and I really wish they had. It looked like the Mount player had been tackled and was down, but then he jumps up and runs for a TD while the Hanover players had stopped. I gathered from the commentators that he had landed on a Hanover player and only his hand had touched the ground. But they said no replay was available. What actually happened on that play and who was involved?

You can see the play in the Mount Union highlight video.  He was never down, spinnig off three attempted tackles.  The play starts at around 3:48.  http://athletics.mountunion.edu/sports/fball/2019-20/videos/20191123-vtpn2jj1
It was featured on College Gameday Final as one of the top ten plays (#2) of the day

There are many things I'm thankful of. When it comes to college football I'm thankful that this time of year for D3 football playoffs but even more thankful that unlike most years the games don't get very competitive until the 3rd or 4th round of the playoffs. Saturday's UMU and NCC match up should be a very entertaining and competitive game.  Both teams so far this year have blown the other team out with their games already decided by halftime which won't be the case Saturday.

To get a better view of how both teams have done in the first half of their games I calculated that UMU is scoring at an average of 38.8 points by halftime while giving up only an average of 2.7 points.  NCC numbers are equally impressive in scoring an average of 36.4 points by halftime while giving up an average of 7.2

UMU    38.8   2.7
NCC    36.4   7.2

I keep seeing the rain getting pushed back, so there's a chance it might not be raining/snowing the entire game.... Or at least I'm hoping!

This is one of my favorite games that I've ever been to! I was sitting on the visitor side with some younger NCC players and had great conversation throughout the entire game. I also like these highlights because it shows BOTH teams highlights instead of just one team (Mount Union 😁). That receiver for NCC was fantastic and made some great catches, especially the one diving out of bounds on the one in the 4th Q.

I'm looking forward to a great game Saturday and hope a good crowd shows!

I'm sure the NCC UMU game will be a great game and I'm planning on going to it.

I did a little researching on D3football listing of past season records that went back to 1998 for both teams.  Based on those records going back to 1998 NCC counting last week's win has a playoff record of 13 wins and 10 losses with the magic year of 2013 When they lost by one point in the semifinals to UMU.   In the same time period UMU has a playoff record of 84 wins and 12 losses   I'm not sure how much of an advantage the past records will have on the game except for maybe a slight advantage in critical game playoff experience and the amount of extra practices earned over the years.

In any event, the game will be won on the field.  May the best team win and injuries kept to a minimum.

Looking forward to a great match up Saturday.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Are some Mount fans going to Pancho's Saturday morning? If so, I'll probably stop by. Would love to meet some of you characters.
