Looks like the National Championship was decided in Alliance.

UWW Could always mount a 2nd half comeback but they look totally outmatched right now. I've never seen a more lopsided stagg. Event the 52-14 UMU loss was pretty tight at halftime.

This game so far is confirming my suspicion that the perennial powers were down a little this year by their standards.  How did this UWW offense score 26 on UMHB??  NCC is getting pressure from their D line.  That's very un-UWW like considering the NCC DL isn't some dominant unit.

UWW hasn't been a true purple power since Leipold left

Doesn't appear many locals turned out.   Nice showing from NC though.

We'll, how about that?! Looks like Kent State will win their bowl game against Utah State. Appears the MAC will be 2-0 in bowls games heading into tomorrow's bowl games after Buffalo's bowl win today also.

That doesn't surprise you, does it? Another reason why it is good they are moving it to Canton next year.🙂

Surprise me?  No.  Please me? Yes.

I know Canton will do a great job, and I hope the locals will turn out (though I have my doubts) but even without local fans the crowd would be bigger than this.  Although that might not be true if it were UMHB vs. Linfield.

I'm thinking we probably won't have to worry about that, although you never know!🙄🙂

North Central and Mount, 1 and 2.  This was not a strong WWW squad.  I think the North Central D line was stout, and they took away the run from both Mount and WWW, which resulted in victories.  Will be interesting to see if Kamienski has a good year next season with a different QB.  WWW QB was average at best, and his ground game was basically non-existent.   Has Wheaton named a coach yet?  Swider will be a tough act to follow.

It appears to me that the Gagliardi Award was disrespected.  No dinner?  No ceremony?  Just an announcement before the game?  This is wrong on so many levels.  Salem did a wonderful job making this a priority. Did Shenandoah just skip it?  Gagliardi, the man, and Gagliardi the award deserve so much more.  Shameful.  I hope I find out differently, but from where I am sitting now, I think Rutter and the Award got shafted.

I might have to slide Wheaton in-between.

Given the published Stagg Bowl attendance of 1362, we might not have have Shenandoah "to kick around anymore."

The performance of NCC and most specifically Rutter very much reminded me of 1993 and Jim Ballard.   Great QB with the stones to carry a team to their first championship.   Great parallels between Kaminsky and Bubonics.   Both great route runners and completely uncoverable.

Well deserved championship for NCC.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

In a word, yes. This is definitely one of the disappointments of the Shenandoah experience.
