Mount Union got a little shout out on ESPN after the championship game Monday!
In case anyone is interested, Mount Union and Alabama are now tied with 13 titles apiece.
They are chasing North Dakota State with 16 (between DII and FCS)

Thanks 66

You JCU guys are OK after all! Let me just add that all of Mount Union's titles were won on the field, not as the result of polls. No one else can say that.
Hope you and little brother are doing well. Miss hearing from you two.
Stay safe. Stay well. Happy New Yeat and Go Blue Streaks! 🏈 🍺
Only a couple months till we actually get football back!

I wanted to mention for anyone else as starved for OAC sports as me that OAC hoops kicks off Friday night.  This year schools will play both of their OAC games on consecutive nights.  So Mount opens with BW on Friday night and plays BW again Saturday night.  I'm definitely firing up the live stream because it's been far too long since we've had OAC sports!

Also, does anyone know why Mount's football opener against Musky is being played at Zanesville HS?

The 1926-era grandstand was taken down at the end of the summer and a new stadium is being built, so I would assume that's why.

Congrats to Nick Sirianni on being named the Eagles new HC!  Fantastic news.  What were the odds of Matt Campbell not being the first Mount alum to be an NFL HC?  Somewhere LK is beaming I'm sure.

I liked that old bowl.  Kinda sad to see it go, but I get it.  Onward and upward in New Concord.

I don't like this...the Cap/Musky women's games this weekend are already scratched due to COVID protocol at Cap.  I hope this isn't a preview of what we can look forward to this winter.

For Mount fans, the basketball games will be streamed free of charge on Boxcast.  My assumption is that you go to the Mount athletics website and get directions to the broadcast.  All Friday games start at 7, all Saturday games start at 6.

If it's like last year with Boxcast you should be able to just click on the video icon for that game on the schedule or Game Day pages.  It couldn't have been easier thankfully.

And speaking of Boxcast, for anyone bored you can still go back and watch the archived full game videos of last year's hoops games.  I went back and watched a couple when live sports were scarce.  That men's team was so much fun to watch play.

Men's JCU games cancelled this weekend for the same reason.

If anyone else was as clueless as I was on this Musky project it's not just a stadium upgrade.  This is a major project including classrooms, fitness, a 200 meter indoor track with a turf field inside the track (roughly 60 yds of turf).  Very cool project.  Musky Health & Wellness Center
