Does anyone remember if Washington and Lee is a triple option team? I seem to remember that from 2017. If so it cracks me up they we could have  two straight weeks of triple options teams to start the playoffs.

I suspect jknezek remembers.   ;)

Definitely an option team still. Though with our injuries, if we can't get some major pieces back that didn't play this weekend, our best option might be a running clock...

So if Mount Union and WWW meet in the semi finals...does Mount host because they were last to win a Stagg Bowl?

UWW is opposite Mount Union, so they would not meet until the Stagg Bowl. Also, because of most recent playoff results, UWW will host all the way to Canton (St. John's would travel to Wisconsin).

Mount Union would travel to NCC if the Raiders make it that far.

To edward de vere's point, though, if Mount Union makes it that far, UWW would technically be the "home" team, but the closest D3 school to Canton is Mount Union.

OR if NCC makes it that far. The Cardinals have a pretty tough second round date with Lacrosse

Very true. In that case, for all these speculations to matter, NCC AND UMU have to get that far for the Cardinals to host the Raiders. If NCC slips, Mount no longer has to make any travel plans longer than 20 miles.

I'll be shocked if it's not UMU @NCC in the Semis.

It was a very raining game with surface water on many parts of the field for most of the game.  Mount scored twice in first quarter then played good defense the rest of the game. W&L ran the ball most of the game and ended up with 220 yards but was well below the

Yeah. It was a windy monsoon. And that might be an understatement.

looking at the bracket for Mount; it was a pretty good draw.  Some might be upset about being on the same side as NCC, but you have to beat the best to be the best.  The Raiders wont be too upset to travel to Chicagoland.  The interesting thing, IMO, is Mount might be facing back-to-back option teams in Rd1 and 2, as long as Mount wins and Salisbury beats JHU.  Facing W&L prior to Salisbury will help in rd 2, but will facing option offenses get the Raiders D ready for the big time offenses that are potentially down the road?

Maybe I'm just looking into it too much, but give me JHU in the second round.  And oh yeah, UW-Lax over NCC would be great
